I usually purchase a Lifeproof FRE' for all of my phones for that waterproof security, sense of safety. I never have a complaint with the FRE' cases, but I wanted to see if there was an alternative to the $90.00 purchase price of the FRE'. So as usual I find myself on Amazon looking for the alternative, less expensive case. That search brought me to this Effun Waterproof case. I have no experience with this brand but the reviews were positive so I took the chance.I received it and tested the case for it's waterproof efficiency by placing a paper towel in the case and submerging it in about 2 feet of water. I left the case in the water for 3 hours and the paper towel was dry. I was really happy with that result because for $16.99 I was a bit nervous it wouldn't pass. So I dried the case and and and installed it on my phone.I cleaned my S9+ and installed it on my phone. Install is very straight forward and it looks nice (I purchased the white case). Phone calls are not hard to hear and no one has complained that they can't hear me (I asked after a few minutes of conversation). I don't listen to music with the phone alone (usually with bluetooth headsets or bluetooth speakers) but I found the sound to be very acceptable for a waterproof case (remember this case is meant to PROTECT the entire phone and you will sacrifice some features such as sound - although for me personally I found it fine - very similar if not better than the FRE').It takes pictures and videos with clarity, although as expected video sound was not as clear (again waterproof case so expected). The fingerprint scanner works perfectly fine as well and I have yet to encounter an issue. The other three biometrics work fine as well - facial recognition, iris scanning and the combination of iris and face combination are all in good working order.Now for the BUT in my headline...I don't no about anyone else, but my phone does not sit/fit tightly in this case. There is a gap between the phone and the screen protector of this case. If anyone has ever had an OtterBox Defender case with the screen protector, you know what I mean. So if it wasn't for Samsung's new feature to increase the screen sensitivity, this case would not work.It is a FINGERPRINT magnet on both the front and rear of this case. I have different cases for my S9+ (case junky if you will lol) including the YOUMAKER Crystal Clear case with the built in screen protector and the SUPCASE Full-Body Rugged case Beetle PRO Series and they are much better in the fingerprint department than this case. I find myself constantly cleaning the case because in any bright light, all you can see is your fingerprints and smudge marks from using the phone.So the screen protector NOT fitting tight or flush to the phone is a big problem for me personally. That is one reason I stopped purchasing the OtterBox Defender (which they now have removed the screen protector from that case for the same complaint). The Lifeproof FRE' case does not have this issue (I have owned several for different phones). This case also adds bulk to the phone when compared to the FRE'. Not a deal breaker but one I felt mentioning may help in your decision. The fingerprint residue is not a complete deal breaker, but another one to consider if your as OCD as I am.In conclusion it is a $16.99 case and with free PRIME shipping, it will fit the bill for now.

In my mind, this is the best Samsung Galaxy S9 plus waterproof case in the market. Durable and affordable at a great price, you can't beat that !! I don't really know what kind of material is in the front screen but it is so easy to type. I highly recommend this Samsung Galaxy S9 plus waterproof case.

So I bought this case to use it during snorkeling however once I got in the water, the touchscreen did not work; only worked when my hands were not wet and outside the water; it does the job of keeping the phone waterproof however it doesn't work if you are going to take pictures and videos underwater and material feels real cheap probably will use ONCE and throw it away

I bought this after I was disappointed with the Lifeproof version for the s9+. Very happy with this one. The other case left a bubble between the screen and the cover. This one has a solid fit with no bubbles and no loss in sound quality from the phone.

I bought this Samsung Galaxy S9 plus waterproof case to use while vacationing at the beach and couldn't have been happier with it. The look, the feel, the sound quality, pictures I took were all better than I expected. Way better than another popular case I've used in the past that had very awful sound quality and was pretty much useless for me. Would definitely recommend this Samsung Galaxy S9 plus waterproof case. You won't be disappointed.

Will keep your device waterproof for a short amount of time, which is hopefully all you would need it for. i would hope that no one would try to use their expensive phone underwater fot any length of time. Will do the trick in a pinch.
