Comfortable fit
I have two pairs of these canari biking pants. They’re comfortable during my 20-25 mile rides, warm on colder days and support old leg muscles. I’m 75 and know about old body parts. I’ll buy others when I wear out the ones I have. I can recommend them.

Decent tights; not for long rides
These are on the cheaper end for tights, so I wasn't expecting much. They block the wind reasonably well and keep me warm down to around 50. (I bike at around 20 mph solo). The chamois is rather lacking, but is good enough for an hour long ride.As to sizing, I wear 31x33 size pants. The tights are large on my waist, but I can tighten them up with the provided string. They are a bit short on my legs, stopping three inches above my shoes. I wear long socks and that solves any length problem. These are a decent purchase for someone looking to do shorter rides in colder weather. The material seems strong; they should last a while.

Good for short and medium rides. 50+ miles get a different seat.
Second pair that I bought. These are quality pants. I would like to comment on the length as I am picky on this. These pants fit me right in between the knees and the ankle. They do not go all the way down to the ankles and are not shorts. So there's a lot of talk on whether gel cushion is better or worse for long rides. Let it be known that I do not have natural cushioning and when riding on a road bike for even short rides, it is extremely uncomfortable. I have used these pants for longer rides 20-30 miles and they have done what they need to do. I don't expect them to be comfortable past this mileage. If you are planning on longer rides like a 50 or a century and you are looking for comfort...you may want to look into changing you seat instead of getting padded pants. These pants help but may not be the ultimate solution for long rides.

step down from the 10 year old version
I bought this to replace my 10 year old pair that saw about 500 to 800 hours of use. The updated pair is quite a disappointment. The old version was a bit heavier with the inside surface slightly fleecy making the pair good down to about 40F. The new on is OK down to about 50 but below that you need a thermal layer. No way you can add a thermal layer as the calf part in the medium size. It's too tight for a typical distance cyclist's muscles.About the only thing that broke on the old pair is an ankle zipper pull. A small paper with a bit of masking tape wrap replaced the pulls very nicely. The new ankle zippers don't stay down. They ride up exposing your lover calves to the wind. To add thermals I just ordered the large size. Can't return these because I wore them a few times. The butt pad is no where near as comfortable as the old one.About the only positive is that comparable pearly brand pants are about twice the price.

Nice lightweight tights, versatile in a wide range of temps.
These are not thermal tights. They are spandex shell with a LONG ankle zipper. I can start a ride in 45-50F with the legs down; as the day heats up to 65F, I can unzip and roll up the legs and convert them to "shorts". This is my second pair of Canari tights and they are better than the first pair with better material and longer calf zipper. Very versatile

Great item! The L is just long enough to fit my 34" inseam, but there is some obvious stretch going on. I think that XL would probably better accommodate the length I need. Snug fit on a 24" thigh. If you have a waist size of 36 jeans, you should go with an XL. If you are a 34, I would suggest size L.Quality construction and the gel padding is the same type found in Canari's gel shorts, which is perfectly functional and comfortable. I purchased these to wear for slightly cooler weather, but not cold weather. These are not made for a cold weather environment! Comfortable for when you need just a little more than shorts to stay warm, and need to stop just a little bit of wind.Hope that helps!

Good tights for the money
I have been using Canari products, primarily biking tights, for close to a decade now. They fit me well, are very comfortable on several hour rides and are reasonably priced. I live in the Bay Area and during the week I am normally on the road biking around 5:30 am. The temperatures dip in to the mid 30's at that time of the day in the winters, maybe even below freezing sometimes. These tights always keep me warm during those rides. In the summer, the temperatures are in the 70's and they don't overheat. In fact, they do a great job of wicking the sweat away so I don't feel "wet". I would say they are as good some of the Pearl Izumi tights at significantly lower price.

Pink Logo?
Had to return this because it is somewhat loose. I have a 33-34 waist and ordered a large size. It fits perfect on my waist and the string is great to tighten it. However, I have a skinny leg and it is quite loose on the thigh and leg. Material is great and very comfortable but is just does not fit right for me. Also the tights I received is black with a pink Canari logo and not white as I expected. I am a guy and pink is not my favorite color. You know what i'm saying?
