Game changer
Bought for a special use... Automotive oil changes! With one squeeze of the trigger, this tool will neatly punch a small round hole (approximately 3/16") right through the underside of old an oil filter which is still threaded onto the vehicle. The old oil, which is trapped in the filter, drains out nicely through the newly created hole with NO MESS. Just hold the tool against the filter, pull the trigger and "POW!", then quickly move the tool away to let the old oil drain into the catch-pan below with NO MESS! This tool's plunger, when the trigger is pulled, pops-out beyond the guide tube at extremely high speed and retracts, leaving a small hole, roughly 3/16". Once the oil trapped in the filter, is drained out, you can spin-off the old filter without a stream of old oil running down your arm. Of course, you still need to drain the remaining engine oil via the vehicle's oil-pan drain plug. Works great for me, and a great price. Test it on an old coffee can, or oil filter first, and be sure the compressor regulator is set to sufficiently high PSI.

A true labor saver
The media could not be loaded. Seems well made, feels very solid; absolutely does what it was designed for. Taking apart pallets for free wood seems like such a good idea, but the labor involved is prohibitive. This pops the nails out quickly and entirely. In the video it shows me pulling some nails out with my fingers after the fact - but that was really the exception and no big deal if it was the rule. The barrel of this thing fits around any nail size I encountered; it pushes slightly through the wood (1'4"? don't quote me..) and mostly just drops the nail entirely. Note from the video that I'm punching the nails out over a trash barrel - bonus! Between this tool and the "Vestil SKB-DLX Deluxe Steel Pallet Buster with Handle, 41",blue", I dismantled more than a dozen pallets in a few hours. i cannot speak to its durability, as I've only used it for one day but it seems pretty solid.

A must have for freecycling wood.
Never knew this type of air tool existed but man, I'm glad it does. The tool's quality feels much higher than its price. I was able to knock a lot of glue coated ring shank nails out of one by pallet wood pretty quickly. I used the tool at about 110 psi and a few nails didn't get fully ejected but they were easy to pull out the rest of the way by hand. I haven't tried any two by material yet so can't speak to its effectiveness on driving nails though heavier wood. Another thing, not only can you save wood, but you can also save and reuse the straighter nails if you want. Wish I had bought one long ago.

That dam thing works great! Make sure your feet is not under the wood. Made that mistake!

Excellent tool
Excellent tool, this worked great. I pulled off a bunch of baseboard trim for a remodel, this removed the nails without damaging the wood at all. Well worth the money.

Don’t put your hand behind the nail to try and catch it. You’ll only do it once 🤣🤣🤣
This thing is AWESOME for removing nails and salvaging wood. Works better than I expected. Definitely recommend.
