Just screw the bulb to your existing light bulb socket Indoor use only.Works best with SCS 3.7mm, 940nM IR Filtered Pinhole Lens Light bulb shaped compact 940nM IR LED with low heat. As long as your camera is equipped with 940nM filter lens, this IR lamp will let the camera see in total dark with zero glow from the LED (cameras with 850nM filter will NOT work).The lamp will provide 160deg wide angle beam. Quality LED will last years and years. ---- Is your camera 940nM IR lamp compatible? ---- If your camera comes with a night vision feature with built-in IR LEDs and remains total dark at night, most likely your camera is equipped with a 940nM IR filter.
