I was told by a friend and tried this. Works perfectly but the challenge is that you need to know the electric cabling very well. Lot of the connections does not have neutral and that’s a challenge to know where that neutral is and there is an option to do single wiring as well, but the device need a natural. So, its bit challenging to pull the to the device itself. At the time, I was not sure of plugs doing the same and I should invest in them than the switch for below reasons.- You can only control with Alex, Google and others but what is Wifi is switched off at home – you don’t have a hub and if the device is not reachable (like I installed near the light because the wires are there, you can click the button easily for manual switch.- No dimmer – so worth waiting and buying better one as you don’t want to invest and re-invest (it’s a pain to do the cabling and other stuff)Overall it’s a great introduction for Automation and you can play around with these but for serious buyer you need to invest more.

Works great, I could not get the unit to connect to the wifi, in the end I used a different iPhone and it worked, I have used 7 out of 10 and all programming is easy. I have IPhone 11 pro. I used an old 5 to program the units. Will be purchasing more units soon.

I use these to control my electric gates, fountain, indoor lighting and outside lighting with voice control via Alexe or on a scheduled time frame with Alexa.I do not use the schedule in the eWelink only for the fact it it can take a few days to update when the clocks change or summer and winter times.I have been using a mixture of Sonoff's for almost two years now and have 19 units and no failures.

These WiFi breakers are reasonably small. Great quality and easy to pair.I actually got these to replace some other make that work intermittently.They are easy to install and small enough to put in a small hole in the ceiling or even a 35mm wall patress.My only real gripe is that they don't work with Tuya or Smart Life apps. They do have to work on its own app which is eWeLink.For that reason I'm giving it only 4 stars.But they do so far seem to work well.They're great value for money if you buy the 10 pack as I did.

So far being totally new to home automation and after doing some research on various websites etc these Sonoff basic Switches have proved to me you don't hav to spend a fortune to automate your house. They just WORK! and are so simple to set up its a breeze.

Fantastic product, good value. Installed over fifty of these, a little temperamental to set up but once done works great.

They are based on an ESP8266 from Espressif. If you open it up and solder some pins you can connect it to your PC/Mac using a TTL (see picture). It costs less than 10$.After that you can program them yourself using C/C++ with Arduino or Espressif platform. If you prefer Python you can install Micropython using Thonny editor.I program mine to support Wifi/MQTT so I can control them from a PC/smart home hub. …or they can control each other…

Sono degli switch domotici molto flessibili, economici e funzionano bene. L'integrazione con Alexa e Home assistant è ottima. Li uso da diversi anni e non se ne è rotto nessuno. Circa l'affidabilità operativa, dipende molto dalla rete wi fi che sia ha e da quanti ne sono accoppiati al router (oltre un certo numero che dipende dal tipo di router, possono esserci problemi di disconnessioni o ritardi negli azionamenti)

Mann muß genau überlegen wo für Mann sie benutzt passen leider nicht in jeder Lampe mit rein auf Grund der grösse Mann braucht dann nämlich noch Befestigungs Schrauben nicht dabei und Kabel um sonderleitung zu ziehen zur lampe

El producto está muy bien y cumple con mis expectativas, pero lo de programar las escenas, no lo tengo claro 🤔 hice alguna prueba y bueno... Seguiré probando...Pero insisto, está genial y lo veo muy útil 😉
