Best Looking LED Strip Light on the Market
This is an absolutely fantastic product! I hate how traditional LED strips emit "points" of light that can be rather harsh on your eyes. This stuff is incredibly flexible, supple, and easy to work with, but the BEST part is how diffused the light is. It doesn't look like LED lighting at all, rather it looks just like white neon lights.10 different light settings from REALLY bright, which is great for doing detailed work at your countertop, all they way down to a 10% soft glow--about the same as a nightlight--that's perfect for wandering into the kitchen in the middle of the night without having to squint your eyes!At first I just figured I'd solder the strip pieces together, but I found the copper tabs were not very conducive to soldering. I noticed Lamomo-us (the light rope seller) specifically stated you cannot use a traditional 8mm LED strip light kit to install, but upon close inspection this LED light strip is just like any other once you cut away the casing. Frustrated by the soldering approach I figured I'd just try using a 8mm LED install kit anyways, and once I figured out how to modify my cuts to the LED strip lights, the kit made installation a SUPER EASY! While I have no affiliation with whoever makes the install kit for 8mm LED strips, I used a product called "3528 2 Pin LED Strip Connector Kit" and it worked PERFECTLY once you adjust your cut points properly.IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This product only comes with a couple of hangers, which was another reason i order the 8mm install kit mentioned above. The hangers they give you are excellent, but I have no idea why they dont just include a large handful of the things. There's no way you're going to securely hang 16.5 feet of this stuff with the measly three or four hangers they give you. This is the only reason I give the product 4 starsBOTTOM LINE: My wife and I absolutely LOVE this product... We used it for under-cabinet lighting, but I could also see using it as a really flexible neon light substitute for art projects or something. It's a fun product to get creative with!

The look and brightness of the warm white string is exactly what I was looking for
The look and brightness of the warm white string is exactly what I was looking for. I used this string/s to add under shelf lighting to a hutch. The even look and warmth of these lights complimented our hutches perfectly. I had hoped and calculated that a single string cut into 8 sections would do the job, turns out that there is a bit of learning to be had when it comes to splicing and mounting these strips, so I actually ended up needing / ordering a second strip. All in all, I am very happy with these lights, but I will pass along a couple of tidbits that I gleaned from working with these strips..1) The pads at the splice points are large enough to accommodate 18 ga. wire, BUT they are very susceptible to ripping right off the strip due to mechanical twisting force. So save the soldering for the last step and work out all your mounting first. If you swing the soldered pads around a lot, the mechanical strain on the pads will rip them off. Alternatively you could use a smaller ga. wire, but I couldn't find anything smaller than 18 ga. in white.2) These strips have an outer shell of silicone (I believe), almost nothing sticks well to it and over time I found that they would just fall (since i was suspending them from under shelves. The U-rail mounting clips that they provide do in fact hold the strip quite well (even when suspended) so I recommend using that over any adhesive based approach. The only problem I had was that the U-rail mounts didn't have mounting holes for horizontal mounting, just vertical. I would have preferred a set of horizontal mounting holes too, but the strip looks good enough that the vertical profile wasn't bad anyway.3) They really don't give you enough U-rail clips to adequately suspend the strip under a shelf or cabinet, BUT you can order their accessory kit that provides another 10 clips, which I ended up needing 2 bags of accessory clips to mount all my strips.I have a lot of soldering experience prior to working with these, but anybody with a little soldering knowledge should be able to tackle splicing the strip (if need be) without much effort. Just make sure you use a soldering pen, not a soldering gun. A gun would melt the pads and plastic way to quickly.

This was the solution
MRE 2022.05.06: I had been looking for a LED light strip for my basement. I needed one which would remember the brightness settings I selected and would work with a remote plug-in switch. This one did both. It is soft white and has a variety of brightness levels. The length was spot-on what I wanted. I may get a second one for the other side of the room.

The remote control module is unreliable
The small white remote control module started making sparking noises and stopped working. I was worried it is going to blow up. Disconnected it and connected the cord directly to the power brick and it works fine but what’s the point of paying for remote control if it is going to stop working in a few weeks. Over all the light strip is well designed but the power adapter is made of cheap quality and seems pretty unreliable
