The chess box was broken when I received it. That was a shame because it would have been a perfect birthday gift for my beloved brother who is a genius when it comes to play chess!I bought him something else because his birthday is coming up soon.If it was not broken I would have given it full 5 stars.

I purchased this for a friends birthday.He has yet to receive this, so I'll update when in a few months.Some things I would like to point out,The 8x8 board is rectangular, which was over looked when I was purchasing.The top of the board was dented, and I'm unsure if this was done during delivery or in the factory.One of the hinges is loose so the top lid doesn't sit square.The latch at the front was not screwed in at the front all the way.There is a slight difference in shade on some of the pieces.

Good looking with accetable workmanship; however, the chess board itself is not square so it was hard for us to play on: 2+ inches difference between length and width.

È una bella idea come confezione regalo, ma purtroppo a me la scatola è arrivata poco rifinita e addirittura su certi lati puoi vedere il compensato grezzo sensa la vernice. Il fischietto è leggero come una piuma.
