RIP OFF!!
I am soooo disappointed in these knives. I had one knife that I found at a thrift store, and loved it's sharpness, so I decided to purchase 4 more of the same exact knives (or so I thought) at the tune of just shy of $60.00. DO NOT BUY THESE KNIVES!! Not even close to the sharpness of the one I bought second hand. And, when I look at the handle of these 4 new ones it states "RADA USA", but on the handle of the one that is ACTUALLY sharp it states"RADA CUTLERY USA". And I had limited time to return (purchased Feb. 5th) the cut-off time to return them was by March 10th. Not enough time to determine the actual ineffectiveness of these horrible knives. I even have a sharpener, and tried using it without success.I'm thinking the company that made the one knife that I purchased from the thrift store was probably bought out by another company who now uses SUB-PAR materials, as well as, manufacturing! Hugely disappointed as I was very excited to purchase more of what I expected to be the same knife. BIG MISTAKE!!!J.E.

Great paring knife!
I like that these are made in the USA. I was looking for a replacement for a very old Ecko knife. I wanted a thin blade and the same size. I read a lot of reviews. If I need a new knife I will look at these first. Price was good.

Best Quality
I love, love, love Rada knives! The blades are superior and so easy to keep sharp with just a few swipes through a good quality knife sharpener after every third or fourth use. I love they are made in the USA. I bought the black handled one this time because the silver handles on the ones I already own have changed over time to a dulled pewter look. It’s probably caused by some of the dish soap or bleach I use. They are the best knives out there!!

Excellent quality, awkward size
I've been needing a new paring knife and researched the reviews of several knives. I can't be more pleased with the quality of this knife. It is everything others have said: well balanced, super sharp, holds its edge. I also have to say that the black handled version is definitely the one to choose. I think it is the newer version and is an alternative to the brushed silver handle. Most reviewers criticized that handle for tarnishing. This handle does not have that problem, is solid (not plastic), and has a good texture for a secure grip. I would still not put it in the dishwasher - but that is just to help protect the blade. My only complaint is regarding the size. It is a 'super parer' which means it is a little larger than a normal parer. Its longer blade makes it awkward to use as a parer but it is too short to be a full function utility knife. My recommendation would be to buy the regular parer and then a second knife for the specific other tasks you have. These knives offer great value for the money so don't bother trying to get one knife for two tasks.

These knives are AMAZING!!!!
I didn't expect much from these knives based on the price, but I was really stunned by how sharp they are and how well they've stood up. We actually own two of them, one with the aluminum handle and one with the black plastic handle. Something to note, the aluminum handle will oxidize if put in the dishwasher (this can be remedied by scouring with steel wool). I know many folks don't put their knives in the dishwasher, but I've got my hands full with small children and sometimes can't be bothered to hand wash my knives, thus I ordered a plastic handled version of this knife. The size is perfect for small jobs, like cutting up an apple or slicing a tomato. And they are the sharpest knives we own. I recommend them without hesitation.

Best knife ever!
This is our go to knife for cutting apples, fruit, potatoes, carrots, etc.It holds it's sharpness and doesn't need sharpening.I have had my original one for 10+ years. I have bought more over time, since it is my families favorite knife type to use.I am probably not supposed to, but we put ours in the dishwasher. It has slightly changed the color of the handle, but not affected the quality at all. My mother has had her knife for at least 20 years and it looks and works as good as new (she only hand washes hers).

The best knife
I bought my original knife 20 years ago at a farm stand. I've spent the last 15 years trying to find more knives and only just recently did I find out that my original knife was a Rada. This is my favorite pairing knife by far.

terrific knives
I recently moved twice in 2 months. I lost 2k worth of cutco knives. Needed decent knives, on the fast and economically, priced ( moving is expensive!) Best dang knives I've ever used! Sure the handle is very noticably lower quality than the cutcos, but when we're talking the blade, these knives will not dissapoint! make sure you get the sharpener too. caution I cut myself first use, these babies are very sharp.

Brand Name
I have purchased other knives from this collection and I have found they are very sharp, comfortable to work with and a great value for the price. The quick edge sharpener should be purchased at the same time for these knives.
