Mega Gear MG1573 Ultra Light Neoprene Camera Case Compatible with Canon PowerShot SX70 HS - Black, One Size

I was a bit concerned after reading all the reviews, but I really wanted Something to protect my new $700 camera while travelling to a more brutal climate in a couple of months. Many people complained about the tight fit... Yes, it was a bit tight at first, but I figured that it, like all things, might stretch a little. I was right! I pulled, twisted, but a fist inside... And it's large enough, with a bit of room to spare! And the belt clip clips nicely to my camera strap close enough to easily slip the camera in/out as needed while on the move.I would also add that it was a bit smelly when I took it out of the packaging, but the odor has dissipated nicely. No problems there, either!Thank you for a great product!

As others have pointed out, this case fits, but just barely. It if VERY tight, and must be stretched tight to close. Just a few mm's more, or relocating the Velcro on the bottom would greatly improve this product. Overall, it does work and cover the camera, but it is a struggle to install and remove.

Awesome product

I was sceptical it would fit Canon SX 70, but it's perfect; it even accomadates the strap. I was looking for simple protection, without a lot of bulk. Just right to put in my carryon backpack.

The case is exactly as described (neoprene) but If you want to take care of your SX70 HS you will want to add a very slim adapter ring and very slim clear or UV filter to protect the camera's lens. The MegaGear case is super snug to begin with, so even if those few millimeters are added to the lens, the Velcro closure won't reach to close, and it really will be just too tight.If you don't add any lens protection, the SX70 fits very snugly. (If you add anything else to the end of the lens like a Hood... Fuhgeddaboudit!)3 stars because it is what it is and will work if you don't protect your lens.

Is too small for the cannon camera it is said to be a cover for. No point in trying.

recently purchased a canon sx70 as a travel telephoto. Wanted it to fit in my vest or coat pocket. This case fits tightly and still allows that carry. The only small downside is that it would be handy to have a battery or memory card holder.
