I highly recommend this magnet and would not hesitate to buy another ...
Having read the first negative review, I decided to to still take a chance on this magnet for my Hemiplus. I noticed one magnet coming loose the first week of use, so I peeled the felt off and removed both magnets. I roughed up the magnets and the plastic housing, then attached them with 5 minute epoxy. Problem solved. This magnet has endured many hard drops, and has given me fabulous service. I highly recommend this magnet and would not hesitate to buy another one, provided you epoxy the magnets in place when new. Also, this magnet can attach to either side of the Hemiplus. This magnet, once glued, is as well built as the Hemiplus and very durable.

It holds the light pretty solid though
2 strong magnet on the bottom. First one fal loff the first day the 2nd one fall off after half month. It holds the light pretty solid though. The bottom piece of thin layer sponge feeling protective cover that's covers the magnet broke after 1 week during normal use. And it costs$20+ the price of a regular flashlight, I was expecting higher quality stuff. So 2 star
