Farmhouse Star Bread Box, White

This is a very large bread box. It holds 3 regular sized loaves of standard grocery store bread with some room to spare. The top shelf is not removable and holds 1 loaf. The bottom shelf holds 2 loaves. The finish is a rustic style, where the edges have been sanded down after painting to give an aged look. This box is heavy, having been made from 1X pine boards. I have had mine for 9 months now, and the hinges remain strong and intact. My only complaint is that the box is held together with power driven staples or brads! It has no more than 20 of these. One would think that someone could actually have used screws instead. Or at the very least, hand drive a few nails! So far, it remains sturdy. But for the price, I would hope for more substantial construction.

I absolutely LOVE this product. It's very well built, with solid wood pieces, not MDF or cheap particle board. It has a nice weight to it, so when you open it, it won't slide around. And it's big! easily houses two loaves of bread and a dozen bagels. I use it for snacks like chips, and it holds at least six bags of chips. Love the distressed farmhouse look. And the star tin in front is beautiful. Fits well in my farmhouse kitchen!

It has a lot of room in it, but not too big, it has two shelves which is nice, it’s stylish. It is distressed, so if you don’t like that, it might bother you. It does seem to be a little expensive for what it is, but I liked it so I paid for it.

Such a beautiful and well crafted bread box, holds a ton!

Door did not open and close easily had to sand corners to get door to open. There was no protective wrapping in over sized box, could have shipped two in box. With no protection item was damaged on corners and missing one level.

This bread box holds our loaf of bread, one pkg English muffins, hamburger buns and hot dog buns...all at once. It’s very roomy, keeps everything fresh, fits perfectly under our counter and looks awesome in our old farmhouse kitchen.

I love the size and design of this bread box. It looks beautiful in my kitchen and provides more than enough room for a variety of bread items. The only thing that could have been better was the paint job on the sides...a little too thin and uneven.

Item received. Had to put the tin part in correctly. Sadly the item was way too big for the area I wanted to put it in. Was going to use it as a bread box. Returning item. Will look further.
