Very Best Of

Great collection of tunes though it could have been mastered a bit better. Volume between tracks fluctuates a bit. Not a huge deal though.

The Very Best of the Shadows CD is really good. They sound a lot like the Ventures.

One of my favorites, this CD is awesome. Buy it.

There are any number of Shadows collections to consider, however if you want 1 CD, this could be it.I did have 20 Golden Greats, but The Very Best Of The Shadows has 20 tracks in almost entirely in chronological order, while Golden Greats are in any old order.Also this in includes vocal tracks Mary Anne and Don't Make My Baby Blue, which brings some variety, while Golden Greats are all instrumentals.So while both are good 1 CDs in their own right, it's The Very Best which I prefer.

Hank & the gang at their finest! Any serious guitarist should hear this... great melodic hooks, tight arrangements.... just goes to prove that you don't need to play a million notes at the speed of light to craft great songs!

For many years I had a tape of The Shadows..... then I change the the car. The new car entertainment package had a CD.... so I had to change my music storage. This CD is one that needed to be obtained along with others...The car may be modern, the roads may be busier, but the music takes me back to the 60,s...nostalgia at its best

This is the shadows at their best, I wished they would have carried on, musicians that can really play their instruments. FAB-U-LOUS.

"The Very Best Of The Shadows" is an excellent compilation CD Album by the British Instrumental Rock Group.
