Magma Sketchbook: Architecture (Magma for Laurence King) Diary – Digital, January 20, 2015

I wish I had discovered this product years ago, it has been a real game changer. It takes different style sketch books and combines them into one. You literally will not use another sketchbook ever again. The paper is nice, the design is nice, and I love it. Thank you!

I've used Magma books for 6 years and LOVE them. Wonderful paper that doesn't bleed through. Numbered pages so you can know that everything is consistent. Small pouch in the back for business cards.This is EXACTLY the same size as an iPad Air, so is perfect to carry the two of them back to back.

Perfectly individualized and thought "Add-on gift" for my Architect brother!

Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed... the cover and corners came bent! I mean I know journals are meant to be warn it but the owner should do that, it should come without defect. The cover itself is thin as the large K icon on the back of it comes through... the pages as well are very thin seeing the pages that follow.... disappointing.

I was pretty disappointed by this product. First of all, I expected the sketchbook to have dotted pages. To my surprise, the pages are not all the same (both different scales of dots and blank), and they are printed much too dark to the point where I can not clearly see my sketches or notes. But the most disappointing part is how poorly bound the book is. After less than a week of use, pages began to fall out. While this may meet some designers' needs, it did not meet mine.

It's overpriced for the quality of pages inside . It's more like an insight for architectural kind of stuff and way less usable pages in terms of quality.

Excellent sketchbook with helpful guidance for architects included. Some pages blank, others with grid dots and some with rulers along the edge, too :-) Delivered swiftly and with no problems.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my other half who's about to start studying architecture at uni in September. He absolutely loves it, it's perfect for jotting bits down and getting some quick sketches in. It's got a few technical pages towards the back too to help as a reference guide for when he's designing. Definitely recommend for anyone studying architecture!
