needs stronger magnets
The mount works so so for a quick rest but it would be nice if the magnets were stronger. The magnets on the mounts I received are about as strong as most refrigerator magnets. The mounts also require a fairly clean surface to stick to. The word "clean" and my vehicle are rarely used in the same sentence. The mount is fairly resistant to being knocked off from side to side movement but any up and down movement will cause these mounts to fall off.

great idea and product. i got 4. 2 for gun safe. 2 for use in field-side of truck or hood to be temp gun rack.

Not the color in pics
Pictures show white mounts. The ones I received were grey. I wanted white to go with my work bench.

Don’t waste your time on this
The magnet on this item is very weak. I have several other magnetic gun holders, some have stronger magnets than others so verging applications. This one is not usable for any.
