I love this cheese because of the carb content (0), and the texture is great, slightly crumbly. It's a good substitute for feta on salads.

First time trying it….
Great price for a cheese I’d never tried before! I guess I’d compare it to sort of a mixture of FETA and Farmers Cheese maybe? Tangy, a bit crumbly - yet creamy - I used it in a cold salad of farro, blueberries, celery, and cilantro and it was very good. Also used it in a hot dish - an enchilada casserole and it worked really well there also - and I’m planning to buy it again and try it in other applications as well.

Delicious cheese.
This queso is delicious. It reminds me of food on trips to Mexico. Most dishes there don't tend to have a lot of cheese like here in the states. If they do, they have a sprinkle of queso fresco, cotija, or something similar. Love it on Mexican dishes, or in omlets, or for whatever.

I love Mexican cheeses and buying from Fresh is much less than a grocery store. Good mild flavor, easy to use in a variety of dishes.

Great mild flavor & good melting cheese
I love it’s mild flavor. I had bought it from Vallarta grocery store for years. I love the crumbly texture and how it resembles feta without being overly salty.
