Clear screen, nice case, but half baked idea.
The screen being a TFT screen you'd expect it to be clear with excellent colors and great viewing angles. The screen is sufficient bright which is a plus. The colors do pop and the viewing angles are indeed good. Mine came with a dead green pixel in the middle and for that I'll be exchanging it.Be aware that it does not work without tinkering. It came with a piece of paper with the GitHub link to download the PDF. I followed the instructions and got it working. You are expected to have some IT or Linux knowledge to make sense of it.Big note... Once you install the drivers able to get the screen working HDMI no longer works. There is no way as far as I know without some crazy Linux expertise to make it toggle between modes...I found to switch back to HDMI you need to edit the config.txt and comment out the driver the installer added via VI, of course this disables the LCD but leaves the brightness on...I have to say while I like the screen and the cooling accessories (heatsinks and active fan) the screen is kinda half baked. For this is give it a 3.Factory test your LCDs for dead pixels (even one dead pixel means it's a defective product IMHO)Figure out a way to toggle between LCD and HDMI. A toggle switch or something then I would give it a 5 star rating. For a product that costs as much as the PI and has these issues I'd give it a 3* for value.

Really clear and bright, better than expected
This is about the same size as a raspberry pi or the screen on a PSP. Really bright and easy to read. Thought it would be pixelated but it's great.Follow the link in the instructions for how to put the case together as well as drivers. I couldn't get my keyboard to insert the tilde so I used wifi to access the pi with Putty through my desktop.

Best picture for its size (for a while)
Super bright! And, unlike the 3.5" tft displays, it actually works with whatever I throw at it. And installation was easy, compared to the hoops I had to jump through with the 3.5" screen. My only complaint is it's not a touch screen (hey, waddya want for $25?). And, believe it or not, the case it comes with actually keeps my pi the coolest of all the ones I've tried so far, even with the screen sitting in front of the fan. You'll DEFINITELY need a strong power supply, though, because it DO suck some electricity! That said, it's well worth the price.UPDATE: Dead Pixels (see photo)... They started about a week in, with a single line at the bottom of the screen. Then a few days later the line above appeared.. Then the big spot at the bottom right.... To be continued......

Great screen but I would like more documentation
So the screen itself looks great it is bright and clear. There are two things I am struggling with:1. Must run python script to get the screen brightness button and fan management to work every time the device is powered on after reboot. (I know there is a way using rc.local to have it autoload at boot, but I have spent about 3 hrs trying to get this to work without it actually working) The original image I was using was octoprint and then installed raspbian on top of that.2. I can not get the hdmi switching to work by either method listed (unplugging screen or using the button on the screen) in the instructions from git hub. I would love to have this functioning as I regularly switch displays and don't want to have to install and uninstall repeat constantly.Other than that it is a very nice bright clear screen. I am giving it a 5 star rating even with these shortcomings because the screen itself is great. I am sure the issue is pebcak.

Can't use i2c even if you solder wires onto the back of the pi
So lets start off with the good, its a better resolution then most other screens on the market, its fairly bright, viewing angles are good, color seems good, and it doesn't need any wires like hdmi or anything, and its not a touch screen (at least I see this as a good thing, the project I was going to use this on didn't need a touch screen). Now for the bad, you can only use the screen a max brightness, if you lower the brightness you get a sort of strobe-ing effect from the backlight and the dimmer you go the worse it gets, you cannot use any i2c devices even if you solder wires onto the back of the pi, if you turn on i2c in raspi-config the screen just whites out, which made it useless for the project I was planning on using it in. Its also not a touch screen, I know I said that as a pro but hear me out, I can't really see too many use cases for this since you can't use gpio and its not a touch screen, to me this would make sense if you could use i2c while not being a touch screen (ex: a sensor data monitoring screen), or if it was a touch screen without i2c (yes I am aware that most if not all the touch screens on the market allow you to use touch and i2c) (ex: some sort of portable management system thing). In the end if you have a project in mind that doesn't need gpio or touch, this is probably the best option on the market.

Works well with PI, no dual screening.
The setup was a little tedious. I recommend downloading everything from their website and keeping it handy. The screen displays well with the full and lite versions of pi. The higher resolution is really nice.My two major disappointments are that enabling this screen kills the hdmi output and there setup does not work with versions of ubuntu. I had initially bought this to run ubuntu server on my raspberry but the configuration is not applicable.
