This is one of the best purchases I've ever made
Words can't really describe how impressive this computer is in person, pictures don't do it justice. Having it in front of you while you're sitting at a desk is such a natural sensation, and the sweeping curve of the display is so organic that you wonder why you've been looking at flat displays all your life. This is one of the best purchases I've eve rmade. If you've ever been frustrated at screen real estate as you shuffle windows around, even if you have dual monitors, you would be hard pressed to complain about the acres of space on this thing, it's that good. I don't care for the speakers, but then integrated speakers never sound great, so I'm using external ones. Setup was easy and straightforward. The usb ports aren't easily accessible, but NBD. The screen easily tilts on its beautiful chrome legs. There is no optical drive, but I guess that's dinosaur technology now. By now everyone knows it's HP tradition to supply the cheapest little keyboard with their computers, which looks ridiculous in front of this honking big computer, but no problem I'll use my full-size logitech. I'm a little peeved that in such a huge computer there is no provision for a secondary hard drive, and as is typical of HP the hard drive replacement procedure is unnecessarily long and complicated if you want to upgrade to a SSHD or SSD. Upgrading the memory is an even bigger chore. The cooling fan is a bit noisy for such an expensive computer. All of these things are minor issues however and I look forward to many years of enjoying this spectacular work of art. If you're on the fence, buy this computer!

An insanely good deal for simple, no-frills audio-recording tasking obviously designed by a university music major
I was a bit skeptical placing the order given its low price but this was the only small recorder for dictating purposes that was like the old no-frills reel-to-reel 1960's style recorders: just record and playback with no frills. What sealed the deal though was the option of plugging in an external stereo microphone.Opening the package I was confronted with a recorder one could conceivably mount on your keychain. The design was charmingly neat rather along the lines of an old Blaupunkt chrome steel and leather shortwave receiver but seriously tiny: all of its control buttons are male work-hardened finger-friendly however, unusual for small Asian digital tools. My test of it was based on using my reference flat response Audio Technica ATR 6250 stereo mike. I have to admit I was humbled by how well it sounded on the output side when I plugged it into my desktop to pull out the .WAV file for playing about with it with my Audacity sound processing/editing kit. This is not top-end studio grade (there is no Santa Claus, he was always yer Dad or Mum who shelled out sweat money to make you happy, alright?) but it kicks some serious butt in all the right places: a suitable level of pre-programmed noise reduction covering the entire range from 40-20,000 Hz. Anything you run through this can be worked into a commendable demo single track WITH A GOOD EXTERNAL MICROPHONE with a bit of work using the audio editor of your choice. If you are doing DSLR films where you need chewy and luscious dialogue tracks for your video, you can velcro this little beauty to the side of your digital 35 mm.The only downside is that the playback using the Steel alone sounds horribly scritchy-scratchy which is to be expected from a 1/4" diameter speaker.A truly insane GOOD DEAL. Buy it before the sellers grow brains and decide to market it for what it is truly worth. Makes a better than average MP3 player too with decent track-and-channel separation, deep tonal effects--they have a built-in "audio sweetener" package that also has a no-frills flat response levels range--and pleasingly crisp attack levels PROVIDED you are using decent external headphones.

Excellent radiator for my EVGA GTX 670 Hydro-copper VGA.
This is very good radiator for cooling my GTX 670 card. I use it in a push pull set up with four 120mm Aerocooler Shark fans. I have since order another one to add to my system to cool another GTX 670 in SLI. I am not a big gamer, but I do a lot of video work and my card runs at about 53 Celsius with a very heavy (80%) load on th card.It also is twice as fast as my now obsolete GTX 570.I have been using this radiator for over a year now. I do not use the typical dyes, only Mayhem dyes. I tore my system apart after using primochill dyes and discovered all the blocks on my CPU and VGAs where full of gunk. I also use distilled water instead of store bought coolants with some glycol added that is also made by Mayhem. Mayhem can be found in the U.S. now, but I got mine from the U.K. when I discovered what the primochill dye was doing to my system. This radiator is nice because it has about 1/4 of an inch between the fan and fins. This allows more air to flow completely through the fins instead of the typical "doughnut" pattern most radiators create when they are right against the fins. It also has the option of using the ports on the front or the top of the radiator. Basically it has four ports. This allows for some degree of tubing configuration which may come in handy depending on how you set up your loop.
