Worst socks EVER!!!
I'd give these socks 0 stars if possible! Every single pair has shredded along the calf material. It's ridiculous and the seller was no help at all. Stay away from these, if you want a quality product, look elsewhere.

The Sock that Still Binds
Label on each pair claims "NON BINDING LOOSE FIT TOP" This is untrue. I have an 11.5 shoe size and ordered the size 13 -15 sock to insure a loose fit. It still left an impression at the top of the sock.

These are great if you don't want sock circles around your legs, but they don't last.
****************2018 Edit************Something changed. These socks were so great that I ordered more and tossed all of my old socks. That was a mistake. I'm not sure what changed, but my feet get hot, I got blisters for the first time in my life, and the socks have been wearing out very quickly - maybe after wearing them 3 or 4 times. I wish they would go back to how they were. I'm shopping for others.********************************************These are great if you don't want sock circles around your legs. I'm not diabetic, and fairly fit, but apparently years of hockey, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and unicycling can make your calves thick enough to wonder whether the elastic in normal socks is going to cut off circulation to your feet. Since the mid 80s I have kept my socks down low, but even with that I would get red rings around my calves from the socks being too tight. Luckily, I came across these. I had a pack for 1.5 years that I wore most days before some started wearing out, and I would wear them everywhere - at work, hiking, at home, and while mountain unicycling. They stay up but don't bind or leave their mark, they breathe well, and they held their black color fairly well for over a year of washing.I threw away all my other socks and ordered more. Seriously. My life is that much better and simpler now.

Clearly, These Socks Are NOT "Crew Socks"; They're Over-the-Calf Socks
While I do not suffer from Diabetes, I have severe Neuropathy in both feet; two Podiatrists have told me that my Neuropathic condition has resulted from being on my feet in a previous occupation for far too many years. While I don't know if I believe either of them, the severe condition still persists. Consequently, I must wear Diabetic socks--and they must be ONLY Crew Socks (real Crew Socks); Over-the-Calf Socks cut off the circulation in my lower legs, which is dangerous for me, since I'm a five-time heart attack survivor. So, when I saw these socks advertised as "Diabetic Crew Socks for Men - 12 Pack - Made in the USA," I thought "this must be too good to be true." Sadly, it WAS too-good-to-be-true. Once again, it is "Caveat Emptor."Upon receiving this 12-Pack of Diabetic "Crew" Socks, I simply did a visual inspection, and I could tell almost immediately that these so-called "Crew Socks" were, in fact, Over-the-Calf Socks. And how correct I was!I tried on ONLY one sock and it not only covered my calf, it extended all the way up almost to the middle of my kneecap. Now, I'm not the tallest male on the planet, at 5' 10", but, nevertheless, these so-called "Crew Socks" would have traversed the calves of an NBA player. Just out of curiousity, I took the so-called Diabetic "Crew Sock" and laid it side-by-side with one of my Medipeds Diabetic Crew Socks; the no-name-brand Diabetic "Crew Sock" was easily four inches longer than the Medipeds Diabetic Crew Sock.As previously mentioned, I simply cannot wear Over-the-Calf socks for medical reasons. So, while this 12-Pack of socks might work well for someone who is not adverse to wearing Over-the-Calf Socks, they will not work for me. So, it's another case of poor / misleading advertisement of a product. Another day; another returned product.

His blood sugars are good now but he has bad neuropathy in his feet
My Dad is in a memory care facility and is 88. He has lost a lot of weight but regular socks still leave impressions on his legs as if they are too tight. He used to be Type 2 diabetic and took Metformin. His blood sugars are good now but he has bad neuropathy in his feet. The facility does my Dad's laundry (I used to when he was in Assisted Living) so I purchased white so I could put his name on them.I haven't visited Dad since the socks arrived (going this weekend) but decided to wear a pair last night. My feet and legs tend to swell and I definitely get marks where socks were. The socks were SO comfortable! I told my husband I am going to order the black ones for me! They don't seem like they will fall down around your ankles, which is great. Haven't washed/dried them yet but they look like they will hold up well. Also, you can't beat the price for the quantity you get! I also received an email from the company, which I appreciated.

Great Diabetic Socks at SUPER Price
“I have order from this seller over the years. Not disappointed. For the price, and MADE IN USA, these are a great value. Stockings stay up, aren't too tight or too loose, very easy to put on (compared to regular tube socks). There is a small seam at the toe. This is not an issue for me. I don't know if it would be for you. Overall happy over the years.”

Small and tight
I always wash new clothes before wearing them for the first time, to get rid of whatever chemicals are in them to prevent mold/mildew/etc. in shipment. The socks either shrank upon washing or were already small. They were tight on my size-11-D feet (which aren't swollen; I just prefer socks that don't bind at the top on my ankle) and too short for what they are supposed to be. Since I already washed them, I can't return them. I'll probably give them away to a mission or to the Salvation Army.
