Work very well for not being a professional install
These were not that hard to install, if you follow instructions and take your time they can look very good. My pictures show during daytime you cannot see inside, and you can see outside with minimal visual distortion. I did not take night pictures, but at night you can see inside. The only downside to these is that looking from inside to the outside at night seemed very poor. This is what I found to work best for install. If you have plenty of material left over after cutting out what you need, use some of the excess to practice with.1. Get a good squeegee - I got this one EHDIS Small Squeegee 5 inch Rubber Window Tint Squeegee for Car, Glass, Mirror, Shower, Auto,Windows2. Thoroughly clean your windows. Don't just wipe them down, clean them. Clean them a few times.3. Measure the glass you want to cover, then add at least a half inch to each edge. So if your window is 20" wide, you want at least 21" of material or more.4. Cut your material to the amount you just figured out.5. Make a spray bottle of soapy water. Don't go crazy with the soap, just a drop or two is plenty.6. Spray your window so that every inch is wet and the water is dripping down - you cannot get it too wet.7. Peel the plastic protective sheet off the film.8. Spray the cling side of the film (the same side that had the protective plastic) with your soapy water.9. Give another couple sprays to the window, especially the top edge if your water has dripped down.10. Place the film onto the window so that the edges overlap the window. The film will automatically cling to the window and some of the soapy water will go away. You can adjust the position of the film as necessary to get the edges overlapping.11. Use the squeegee ONLY in a small section of the center of the window - DO NOT wipe to the edges. This will help the film stay in place while you cut it to fit. You do not want to squeegee to the edges because you still need the soapy water to help the edges stick after you get the film trimmed to size.12. Use a sharp hobby/exacto knife to cut the film. Push the film down so that it gets as far into the corner of the glass and the frame as possible. I found it easier to start from the middle and work my way into the corners. Go VERY SLOW! A nice slow cut will help you cut straight. I also found it helpfull to cut an entire sliver off, and not just to the corner of the window.13. Once you have it completely trimmed, use the squeegee starting from the center of the window and work your way to the outside edges. Do it multiple times, even if it looks like the soapy water is gone.14. If you have any edges that are not sticking, gently pull the edge back far enough that you can spray more soapy water in there, then use the squeegee again.

Effectively reduces heat from summer sun
Just received my second order. First order was for my bedroom windows which face west. I have previously used mini blinds and insulated curtains to try and keep the room cooler. This is working as well as the curtains which have now been removed. It reduces some of the brightness from the glare of the sun so the room feels like it’s shaded. It also reduces the heat transfer into the room keeping it cooler. It can be installed by one person but is easier with two. I liked this product enough to order more for my south facing windows. It’s easy to see through from inside out but not outside in during the day. The process is reversed at night but most people close their shades/blinds for privacy at night anyway.

It works as it says it is
I bought this product because I live in a studio apartment that facing an office building. It's super close. If I can see working people doing their things, they definitely can see me too. I wanted something that can provide me some privacy during the day when I'm at home and I don't have to put the shades down all the time. I thought this product may do it. I bought the silver color window film.Pros:- It has variety of sizes so I measured all the windows and just bought the single row of film which is convenience.- Product arrive undamaged and good package with instruction.- Good quality film, feels thick.- During the day, it definite gives you that mirror reflection from the outside and people can't see into your apartment. As the product description said, at night you have to draw the blind because you lose that mirror effect when the lights are on. I know this for sure because I live on a lower floor of the apartment and I walked out into the street to check it out and it definitely works as the product described on the website.- It also provide some shade because of the color, material and quality of the film. I don't know if it does make any difference in terms of room temperature because I didn't check. But I like the fact that now I can leave my blinds up during the day.- Since this is static cling, you can remove the film and reposition it as many times as you want. No residual which is great especially if you are renting.Cons:- Putting it on is not as easy as the instruction said if you have a large window. My window is quite large. I'm 5'3 and it's as tall as me and as wide as 35 inches. I'm not sure why the instruction says to put the original cover plastic on top of the film after you put the film on the window, then use a squeegee to remove air bubble. I guess this is to prevent damage to the film during air removal process. But I find it very difficult to do and make it's harder to remove the air bubbles. After I did my first window ( I have total of 3), I decided to leave out the plastic cover and remove the air bubbles with squeegee without it. It seems to work better and easier.- During air removal process, you have to put some pressure on the squeegee a bit so the air bubbles would go out to the sides. It was hard work. I guess it's because I'm bit neat so I want everything to be nice and smooth. I recommend using squeegee that has cloth (or something soft) cover on one end so you don't damage the film if you decided to do as I did.- You have to use a lot of water, which is more clean up on the floor for me. Good thing I didn't have carpet.- Since the instruction recommend to cut the size slightly bigger than your actual window, the trimming process is a bit much for me as I have big windows but it's do able.- after couple days, you have some returning of the air bubbles but i guess it's to be expected as it's static cling and not glue like your car window film. You can use squeegee to remove it again. It didn't bother me that much so I left it. I'm a bit detail too, if you leave in too much bubble then your view is going to look wavy and I don't like that. That's why I spent so much time and effort squeezing it out.- Because of the effects of the shade it provides, the view looks slightly different from the inside. That I mean color of the view. Everything looks several shades darker. I guess it's fine if that's the effect you're going for.Overall, it's a good quality film. I deduct 1 star for how difficult it was for me to do for my large windows. But by the time I was doing my third flame, I was a pro. It is do able, it takes some getting used to. I bought a larger roll so it costs me $54 which I think it's reasonable for the quality and the function you're going after. Plus, no residual since they're not using glue. I would buy this product again if I need it for the same purpose which is privacy during the day.

Works well for what we need
The bedroom patio door in our new house gets desert sun most of the day. This film has already helped keep the room a few degrees cooler. I was able to apply the film myself; it was pretty easy to work with. I used a squeegee and a credit card; it’s not perfect but the windows are old and it’ll do until we eventually get the windows replaced.

Bien pero la medida es incorrecta
La publicación decía que el paquete mide 18 metros, la que yo recibí solamente media 2 metros.Es buen producto pero la cuestión del tamaño está mal.

Great product
Easy to install compared to adhesive film. UV filtering really works.

Don't get much
You do not get much in a roll. I only wanted enough for four small windows at the front of my house. I had just enough for four, which was kind of annoying because I messed up on the first one so now I only have 3/4 windows with it on. Very little room for error. But it was easier to put up (with someone helping) than I thought it would be. It was frustrating trying to put it on and smooth it out and wet it down by myself, an extra pair of hands helped but isn't really needed. I also found that just measuring it to exact size instead of bigger like they suggest is better because cutting the extra off after it's on the window is really fickle and keeps letting bubbles in the sides.
