Edible Flakes - Rose Gold Love by Crystal Candy - PACK OF 3

Beautiful on the cake. Easy to cover a cake with. You will need quite a bit. I used 1 3/4 containers for a 6” cake and 2 1/4 for an 8” cake. They have no taste and have a paper texture.

This stuff is so pretty! Comes in a little package, but don’t let that fool you...a little goes a long way! I decorated 2.5 dozen cupcakes and a two tiered cake and still have half the container. It doesn’t taste like much which is great. Kind of like a wafer taste. I would absolutely recommend! Looked amazing on my daughter’s 11th birthday desserts!

My package came in very fast, I was very pleased. I bought 2 containers of glitter which covered the entirety of the cake (4 layer 8 inch around, with an exception for the top which I left empty because I had top decorations.) I feel like for that size cake, I would buy 3 containers next time, just to get a bit more coverage but I improvised. Very sparkly and true to picture. Looks great with a peachy rose-ish butter cream layer under it. The cake came out just the way I wanted it, Thanks !

Worked really well. It actually went a little further then I thought it would. I covered a 6 inch cake with a little left over. It's really pretty and a nice rose gold color.

This glitter wasn't as shiny as advertised. I had to make my own glitter with gelatin, rose gold airbrush paint and a little bronze luster dust (Just YouTube how to make your own edible glitter). I used a spice grinder to make my homemade glitter & this glitter smaller which resulted in a more even, shiny edible glitter. I wont purchase this again.

I incorporated these in with some other sprinkles to add a little more dimension. The flakes are really pearlescent and add a beautiful detail. If you plan on covering a double or more layer cake with just these sprinkles keep in mind that the description states it will cover one 4 to 6 inch cake.The only slight disappointment I had with this is that it says in the description that these are crystal candy sprinkles, however the texture is papery and pliable (so it's hard to crumble them into smaller flecks if need be). Which is slightly misleading but they kind of just melt away in your mouth (reminded me of those listerine pocket pocketpack strips) so I didn't hate it much.

These shipped in a flexible plastic container, inside a regular plastic shipping bag. They took quite a bit of damage during shipping and what I received was a lot of crushed powder with some flakes. Additionally, the flakes are kind of thick and they’re barely shiny at all. They aren’t really metallic looking like in the listing photo, they’re less rose and more of a brownish pink, with a hint of a shimmer. I was planning to use the flakes to top homemade molded chocolates, but they’re don’t look nice enough for that imo. I wish I’d bought something else.

I made cupcakes for my friends wedding and used it as a garnish with pink pearls. Looked good as I needed some rose gold coloring. This container goes a long way. It is like wafers with coloring crushed up. I wouldnt want to eat a lot of it but using it as a garnish was really nice. Everyone loved the look.
