These were a great value and the tack definitely gets the dirt off your shoes/feet. But it's not weighted down. If you don't step on and off in a normal pace (or quick motion), you're going to pull the whole thing up with you and get really angry. It needs a plastic board or something to be weighted down (like the U-line tack mats that're waaaayyy more expensive).Usually it's people who are stepping on it for the first time who have problems, as demonstrated in my video. My dad and father-in-law didn't appreciate my attempts to keep my basement carpet dirt-free, and they struggled. But you don't have to struggle.I've thought about duct taping a pack to a plastic container lid, but those aren't very heavy and that's pretty ghetto. I could duct tape it to the floor, using double-sided circular tape underneath, not by taping down the edges. If you did that you'd have to pull them up after every new sheet.

I use these in front of my cats litter box to trap litter from getting all over my house. I have been really happy with how much litter and dust they have caught. I like that I can rope a page off every day or every other day and throw it away. I like the low cost and that 30 sheets came in each package. It has really made an impact in how much litter is tracked around my home.

Work well to reduce dirt coming in. A bit hard to setup, since it requires an expensive piece of plastic to hold it. Made one from plexiglass that works OK. Sheets are very thin and get easily bent in shipping, if they leave the box vertical too long. Don't use the wrong side initially, or the one sheet that is double sided will not stick properly to the plastic sheet or the floor.

This Tacky Mat has good stickiness on the sheets but the bottom does not stay on the tile floor. So when you step on it and raise your foot the entire mat raises up with your step. If we could get it to stay on the floor it would get a much better rating but we haven't been able to do so. Very aggravating walking across it and having it stick to your shoe.

I was a little dubious that I really needed these, but when I scrubbed my tile floors the water was always black. Now that I've seen what comes off my shoes I can't live without them! My floors and rugs are staying decidedly cleaner. I have them placed on my painted garage floor and they adhere just fine. Just make sure to remove any dust or dirt before placing in position.

Way too flimsy and when you would step on it you would get stuck.. served a purpose but became a huge trip hazard. Needs a strong base so that when you lift your foot the pad does not go with you.

I definitely don't agree with the reviews that say these aren't sticky. I agree with Barney. They stick to your shoes tight and it would be good to have a way to fasten them to the floor. That's why I didn't give 5 stars. They are at least as good as the major name brand which is way more expensive.

This was a super price as you get four 30 day mats. Once you try one of these you will never be without it. Traps tons of dirt and dust that otherwise would be tracked in house. Needs a smooth floor. Even works on concrete garage floor.Have been using this product for several months. These mats work as well or better than others I have tried. I like that this is a four pack.
