Very flimsy... disappointed!

The basket shape just crushes lemons/limes, doesn't get the juice out well at all. Should have bought something with a cone shape to get up inside fruits.

Broke second time using.. It's big, it looks sturdy... But handle is much lighter material and the press that is attached to handle just broke off 2nd time using it.. It looks like it was glued on... Realizing it wasn't .. But whatever method was used is clearly inadequate... Initial thoughts of a great product turned to disappointment.

Poor construction.

Right out of the package, I was IMPRESSED! This lemon/lime squeezer is absolutely a cut above the rest! The basket is well crafted of a sturdy HIGH QUALITY stainless steel. The handle is a little lighter in weight, but that doesn't really detract from uit as the basket and press do all the work...maybe it makes it easier on your hands.Now, I love lemonade, not just any lemonade...I love homemade freshly squeezed lemonade just like my Grandma always made! That is where this lemon juice press is so efficient! You don't need to do a half lemon at a time, like you do with so many other presses, this presser is HUGE, allowing me to press multiple lemons at a time. A great feature is that the way this press was designed it keeps all the pits inside the basket, so you won't have to choke on the pits as you sip your lemonade. It also presses more juice out of those lemons than any other press!All in all, I have made, lemonade, limeade and even orange juice with this press and each time I am more impressed with how much more juice I get. This is an AWESOME MUST HAVE for every kitchen. Trust me you need this! I can recall my Grandmother using a squeezer similar to this one, and remember her making the best lemonade I've ever tasted.I love lemon added to my tea, and water. I also love freshly squeezed lemonade, but find it to be a chore squeezing so many lemons, so I wanted an easy to use juicer, without having to use any high end juicers.The best way to use this squeezer is to allow your, lemons, limes, or citrus fruit to sit out for a few hours at room temperature,then slightly roll your fruit slice the ends off. Cut your fruit in halves or thirds place once piece at a time in basket, and squeeze into bowl. If possible you can peel the fruit, to make it even more easier to squeeze. I had no issues with seeds, or pulp escaping out of the holes.The squeezer works pretty well. It is lightweight, easy to clean. The only issue is, some may find it difficult to hold, and actually have the strength to squeeze handles together. I would not recommend it to people with hand issues or the elderly. I did have my seventy year old Mother to try it and she had difficulty in using the squeezer, but if you follow my above instructions, it does make it easier.I received this product at a promotional price in exchange for my honest review.
