SmartSpanish - Introduction to Spanish, Vol.2 Audio CD – August 26, 2009

The lessons came yesterday and the packaging says I can print the text of the lesson by inserting the cd in my computer drive and clicking on "file" to download and print the text of the lessons. Well, I did not see anything to click on other than to play the CD. I still dont know how to print the text of the lessons. I listened to the first Cd and I think that without the text to look at, I cannot understand what the words are that the lady is pronouncing. So unles I can have the text to go along with the audio then this will be a waste. I called the Smart spanish number but could not reach anyone. The autophone response ran me around a few times then dropped me. Actually this could be OK if only I could print the text.

I am enjoying this foundation course and keep returning to it over and over again. With a very pleasant voice a talented teacher gives you many tips to be able to easily memorize the vocabulary and the rules of the Spanish language. She starts with the alphabet, then the numbers and the conjugation of the most common verbs. I feel that I am learning Spanish very fast with this material because Smart Spanish is selective in the choice of what to teach. The selection is based on what is observed in real conversations used in the course on dialogues by the same author. I bought Vol.1, Vol.2 and Smart Spanish Audio CDs Beginner and I highly recommend the method.

Far from memorizing this program teaches you by practicing the language. You are trained to group the numbers for example and to deliver them without thinking. You are explained the structure of the spanish language in a way you will not forget it. You are presented first with the basic vocabulary that you will find in any conversation. I found these cds extremely helpful and I highly recommand them to anyone who wants to get a good start in Spanish.
