they left like 1/8" of the leather flapping
I wore these for one day.The front-top is already wrinkled.See that black leather lip on the top edge of the back of the shoe? Where that is sown onto the shoe, on the inside, they left like 1/8" of the leather flapping. Seems minor except that this excess rubs the back of your ankle - it's like rubbing the edge of a belt on the back of your foot for a day. Also, this is not really an oxford - more of a low-cut boot. It makes a difference because of the way the pant cuff falls on the shoe - if you care about such things. Either way you're better off getting a brown, low-cut boot from literally anywhere.I just dropped them off at Salvo's.

They are actually good bang for the buck
As many others have pointed out, these shoes are "you get what you payed for..." with a bonus.PROS: They are actually good bang for the buck. They are very comfortable with excellent sole cushioning. They look good while new. Buy two pairs if you are going to use these to do a lot of walking.CONS: They will develop a couple of heavy top creases where the shoe bends as your walking. These were my main heavy-duty walkers. I should have bought two pairs when I first ordered. They are synthetic material so they don't breath at all. Unless you have unusually dry feet, your feet will sweat a little bit in heavy use. Take'em off for lunch time and your good to go afterward.

GREAT PRICE,BUT TOO NARROW..STRETCHING THEM AS WE SPEAK!
I took a chance because I have a pair of GBX oxford's size 12...which are finally falling apart after standing up to working at home depot two days a week..for two years..lasted twice as long as other shoes I've bought. I couldn't find the exact shoe replacement, because they're discontinued. These were cheap, even with $10 shipping = $20...from picture they looked like the same "footprint" (same style toe box)...but not so..these are more pointed, hence more narrow. I currently have a pair of shoe stretchers in them to see if I can make them more wearable!...so ..the jury is still outon this one!

You Get What You Pay For
These are cheap shoes. That said, you basically get what you pay for. Bought these for work. They lasted about 9 months before the uppers began to split and crack. I was hoping to get a year out of these suckers, but given that other brands that cost twice as much and seem to have a similar lifespan, these are probably a pretty fair dealEDIT: Just went to re-up, and the price has tripled. Assuming the quality has not also increased threefold, you might want to look into other brands. I am.

Not so brown shoes.
The shoe fits well but the leather is extremely cheap. Where your foot bends and causes creases in the shoe, the creases are cracking so bad and it’s only been 2 weeks of wearing them. I use them lightly just from everyday walking.

they haven't stretched far enough to be comfortable. They seem like good shoes
I got a half size bigger since I have somewhat wide feet and was a bit worried from other reviews. It wasn't enough. After several days of wearing them, they haven't stretched far enough to be comfortable. They seem like good shoes, but for skinny footed people.

Surprisingly good
I wasn't sure what to expect with this brand. Id never tried them before. But I'm very impressed with the quality of the shoe and the fit is as expected. They were a little stiff the first day wearing them but beyond that I find them comfortable. They exceed my expectations.

I got these on sale for like $6. What a great deal
I got these on sale for like $6. What a great deal. I would pay twice that! No really, they fit well and are extremely comfortable with good arch support.
