Trilonium Induction Base Cast Iron Fry Pan, Black

Heavy duty.It weighs more than 1.5kg and has no insulated handle. Both were expected though and I had to convince my mother to use inspite of the weight.It's a good piece though and we get a mitt for holding the hot handle.I bought it over another piece from the same company as it was "triple-seasoned". However, I doubt it and the same is not indicated anywhere on the cover too. It is seasoned though.A genuine piece of cast-iron kitchenware. In that sense it's a perfect buy. One star reduced for the description difference and it doesn't look super-premium as the name suggested. A little improvement in finishing would have been welcome. But, for less than Rs.900, it's worth it.

We have been able to use this pan like a non -stick article. Ofcourse we had to do seasoning multiple times as suggested on the product detail page as well as using suggestions from youtube. Eventually its working very well. We now feel safe that we are not giving any harmful chemicals to our soon through food cooking process.Only reason for deducting one start is the handle. Handle gets hot and they have provided a soft cloth cover. But that caught fire easily on gas stove. Would have preferred if they had proper handle thats easy to use or gave us silicon handle.

I'm a big fan of cast iron items infact my whole kitchen is filled with cast iron utensils.This one is definitely cast iron but i gave 3 stars means satisfied because walls of skillet are in slant position and then there is cut in two sides due to which items are falling out when you stir them.Rest is fine.

EVen though it says triple seasoned ,the product came with splotchy seasoning. AFter couple of uses the seasoning was almost perfect as in the pic.Considering the price the product is top notch with quite smooth surface and no holes or dent.it is heavy as is expected.I recommend it.

Writing this review after months of using the skillet. It is heavy and pre seasoned as mentioned by the manufacturer. However, you will have to season it with oil again in case you wash it. A little warm water is all it takes to clean it. No need to scrub hard.The food is cooked evenly without burning. It's not just good for regular vegetables etc. But also for dosa, utthapam, pancakes and omelettes.

I have been using this product since last one month, believe me it's a great product. The product is compatible on gas, induction. It does not take much time to heat on induction. Loving the food cooked on iron kadhai. Do not keep water for long on iron product. Wash and dry it immediately after use to prevent from rust. I do not found any limitation. Great product.

I have been using this skillet since 2019. Bought it from amazon.in at Rs. 999.00. Normally I cook chutney and fry fish/meat in firewood chulah. It is must have cookware in modern kitchen. Reliable brand which can compete with Lodge.

Love the skillet....just the right size for a fluffy omelette....utthappam...pancake...Chila....did use oil since it's new, but may need very little later. Only negative point is that the handle gets very hot and is a bit short.
