I've been eyeing another 'alignment' mat that is nearly 3x the price of this one, but couldn't justify the spend. This mat is awesome! First of all, it seems to be very well made. It's actually the heaviest yoga mat I've ever had - weighing in at around 6 pounds! Yes, it's THAT heavy. The top layer is super sticky. I didn't slip at all last night in my Bikram class - and I did the entire standing series without a towel in place. At no point did the sweat make the mat slippery. The alignment lines are awesome - they especially helped my triangle pose. One note: You can't just 'wipe' this mat dry, you need to hang it - which can be tricky because it's so heavy - I had to hang it over the shower curtain rod. It's too early to tell how durable this mat is, but for now, I'm happy with the purchase!

Thank you! This mat is perfect for my hot yoga. It's super grippy dry at the start of class and stays grippy when lightly wet and super wet. I did not use a towel on top of the mat. I like the surprise that the lines drawn on are very slightly textured, it helps with fine-tuning positions even with my eyes closed. It had a rubber smell for the first couple days but that's expected of this type of mat, not a problem to me. I've only had it a short while and love it, will report back on it's durability at a later date.

This is a high-quality Yoga mat, and it is not sticky or slippery when you get sweaty. More importantly, compared to some other cheap Yoga mats used, this one doesn't make any noise at all when you move your feet from one pose to another. It is also heavy, 5-6 pounds. The good thing is that it comes with a perfect size travel bag so that you can carry it easily. Cannot tell about the duration so far, but I am satisfied for now.

The quality of this yoga mat is great! Deserves the money! I got a pink one. Looking great. It also comes with a bag that fits the mat nicely inside. Because of the nice quality, it is a little heavy for carrying.

A friend talked me into trying hot yoga, and after a few classes using a beach towel over my mat, I went searching for a hot yoga towel. I have nothing to compare to, but I have been very pleased with this one. The material is a waffle weave, which gives it good grip on the top side. The bottom (mat side) has a thin layer of a tacky/grippy material, so it adheres to your mat. Additionally, there are pockets at both ends that your mat slips into. I have had no problems with this towel shifting during class, and it does a great job of absorbing sweat. It can be a bit rough on your hands if you slide them across the fabric, but I'd rather deal with that than have a softer mat sliding around when I need stability. This towel came with a drawstring bag made of the same material, and a small plastic spray bottle. I have yet to use either, but am planning to make some mat spray with essential oils soon. The purple color is as shown on my monitor, so no surprises there. My yoga mat is a bit to short for this towel, so there is some loose material at one end, but that's obviously not a flaw of the towel. Just something to keep in mind if you already have a mat you're wanting to cover. I have washed this towel about once a week with no issues. I usually let it air dry, but have thrown it in the dryer with no problem once or twice. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase!

I finally got to break this bad boy in! I'm so impressed with this yoga mat. It comes in a handy little bag that makes it so nice for transporting. Once in a while so workout at my work after hours if I'm not able to workout in the morning. This is absolutely perfect! The mat is pretty large and is nicely padded. The product does have that "new mat" smell when it's first unpackaged. I just let it air out for a day or so and we are good to go!

I bought this after my sister in law ordered a similar product that was $100 more because I wanted to do a comparison. I’ve been doing hot yoga for several months now and the one she bought worked great but I didn’t want to spend $150. I was SO pleased with this product!!!! The material is the same as the more expensive brand and it absorbs your sweat so you don’t slide around in your sweat during a hot yoga session. The carrying bag isn’t as nice as the expensive brand but the mat itself is basically the same thing as far as feel and absorption goes. The only thing I didn’t realize was that with mats like these you have to let them air out after hot yoga to dry the sweat. (The spot you see on the first picture is where my sweat hasn’t dried yet from earlier) It isn’t a thick mat so if you are new to yoga you may want to double up at the yoga studio with a studio mat underneath. I am so excited about finding this great mat for such an amazing price! I highly recommend it especially for hot yoga!!!!!
