Work for a child - soft weights, nice fit
I bought these for my 5 year old daughter to use as ankle weights at dance. She is very petite, so I needed small weights that could be tightened up well. These work perfectly for her. They are a bit bulky for a small 5 year old, but the fit well and are able to be tightened enough that they are nice and snug. She says that they are comfortable, and that they don’t hurt or rub on her ankles. Plus, she loves the purple color.I can’t say how these hold up over time as I just purchased, but so far they have been great all around - would recommend.

Smaller than I expected.... But Perfect
I bought these for my 8 yr old son who is small for his age. He has Developmental Coordination Delay and has difficulty knowing where his body is in space. His OT recommended a weighted blanket. But his biggest issue was sitting properly in class. I thought that maybe the wright on his ankles would help. It worked perfect! .55 lbs on each leg was just enough to help him. They do not wrap completely around his leg but the velcro does not bother him. we put socks over the top of them to disguise them.

The straps are just raw strips of scratchy sharp edged plastic Velcro
The Velcro straps have no lining at all. They are just raw strips of scratchy sharp edged plastic. They also unravel very easily. The actual weighted part is soft and comfortable but in putting this around the ankles of my 3 1/2 year old daughter her skin was still rubbing against the uncomfortable velcro strips. Might be workable if the child wears pants or tights but these aren’t priced any cheaper than the better made ones.

Perfect for me
These weights are the perfect size to use as a beginning weight on your wrist. They are easy to put on and take off. I kept the little storage bag they came in so I can easily pack them to go and not lose them. I chose the pink color which is not too bright. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to build wrist strength.

Great size for little gymnast
My daughter needed these for gymnastics. Perfect for her little ankles. She got the purple pair which are perfect because the white velcro makes it easy to put her name on them.
