I have received this product for the purpose of reviewing it.When I first saw this I thought it would not handle my camera (Nikon D90)It held my camera perfect. Kept it steady and for the price. You can't go wrong.It's light and versatile.

We were told to get this for our camera: a relatively large Nikon. Yet where the big tripod is not allowed, this one is easily smuggled in.

I'm beyond surprised with this awesome tripod! I thought it would probably work great with my iPhone, but I didn't expect it to actually support my camera. It does! And it does it nicely!With the ability to move the legs into virtually any position, I found it's possible to position my camera in crazy angles that I'd never be able to achieve with my larger tripod. The convenience of this little dude is invaluable. I take a lot of product photos of jewelry, and sometimes it's nearly impossible to catch the angle and light that I need because I need to get close and personal with the baubles. This flexible tripod allows me to do that with much less effort and contorting.I love that I can wrap the legs around the back of a chair across the room, and run over to get myself in the picture... again, without the hassle of dragging out my regular tripod.This tripod doesn't come with the smartphone holder, so if you want to use it that way, you'll need to purchase the holder separately. I actually use the one that came with a professional selfie stick I happen to have, and it works perfectly.It's made from quality materials, and seems solidly crafted and durable. I feel pretty sure that the legs will take a great deal of bending, twisting, and standing before they might weaken.As a product reviewer, I received this mini tripod at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I rely heavily on consumer reviews when I shop, so I never write a review that I don't sincerely stand behind, based strictly on my own personal experience with the product. I used this Flexible Mini Tripod throughout the holidays, and I can't believe I ever got along without it. I highly recommend it!

Overall this tripod works, but I wouldn't trust it with anything bigger than a pocket camera. It's extremely light, like you don't know you're holding it light, the prongs are pretty sturdy and don't just flex and give away under weight, but it's so small that I question any utility for more than a pocket camera.Like a lot of products on the market today, you need to read the fine print, and this is a great example. This tripod is much smaller than you might think, standing a mere 7 inches tall, and it's super-duper light. I'm not sure what the inner prongs are made out of, but they are pretty sturdy, and able to support a full-size camera like my Canon 60D, but you wouldn't want to try it unless the earth stopped rotating and nobody nearby was breathing or it's likely to tip over. I was able to balance my camera on it just to test its load-bearing, but this really wasn't designed for a big camera - it's for a pocket cam at best. The prongs aren't really flexible, which you might interpret from the segmented appearance, but they really aren't. They're pretty much straight-leg and what you see is what you get. The mounting screw was perfect and fit perfectly. If you are in the market for a small, cheap tripod to hold a pocket cam 7 inches off a surface, and not wrapped around a tree branch, this might work for you, but I suspect there are better items out there for multi-purpose use.

small, compact enough to fit in a pocket, in fact. Its size makes it a good choice for overseas backpackers and hikers, but the size also limits what it can be used for.very cute, small, durable, easy. At this price point it is the best one. I have used it for both my smartphone and for my larger canon rebel and it works great. I have no complaints at all. Although I did receive a discount for this product, there is no expectation or obligation for me to leave a review, and I am doing so honestly and at my own personal ­­­discretion, with no compensation

The tripod is actually much smaller than i imagined, so would not be able to use for the purpose i intended for. The mounting port is pretty small, but is sturdy enough for a compact/smaller camera such as a phone (you would need to buy a converter/mount for your phone to hold it in place). I doubt the tripod would be able to handle a larger/DSLR type camera. I'm giving it 3 stars because the flexible part of the tripod is extremely hard to get into the correct shape (most likely due to the smaller size of the tripod).
