Best Case for any Pi3 you want to overclock to the MAX, conf file OC included:

awesome little case.
Awesome little case. It appears to be well machined out of a couple blocks of aluminum and then painted. It looks great and feels strong. It does have some areas where it could be improved, but I can't fault it. It is exactly what I expected. In the future, I'd like to see a similar case that fully encloses the board. If designed correctly with a rubber stoppers over the ports, it could be a truly rugged case. If the ribs/fins were kept, it wouldn't even need need fans.

Works well as a cooler.
This case worked surprisingly well for me. My Pi 3 was running at around 59 degrees before installation. Temperatures dropped to about 41-44 degrees after, which is amazing. The fans are virtually silent.I did make one modification - I buffed off the paint from the three contact points on the heat sink for better thermal transfer.

The Fan Wires Don’t Hold Up
First, this case REALLY keeps my Pi3 cool. It survived being in a dashboard in Mid-Western heat during the Summer. What is not good are the fan wires. They constantly are getting close to the fan blades.Just from the amount of flex from moving it around, the insulation around the wires have started to crack. The routing of the wires doesn’t help. The case could have easily have been modified to be a “hat” for the fan wires.Additionally, the thermal tape could have been higher quality.

Awesome case, very easy to set up
I recently became interested in buying a Raspberry Pi 4B after learning about all the cool things that people can do with such a tiny little computer. This was my first time ever putting together a Raspberry Pi or ever owning one. I was a little bit worried because some people were saying that in some Raspberry Pi cases the holes on the case might be too small or might block certain cables from connecting to the ports on the Raspberry Pi 4B but I used the official Raspberry Pi power connector with this case and an AmazonBasics branded Micro HDMI to Regular HDMI cable with this case and I didnt have any problems fitting them in the Raspberry Pi sockets. The MicroSD card was a little scary to put in and out though because on the new Raspberry Pi 4B the MicroSD card slot doesnt have a little eject mechanism that lets you push the card in to lock it in place and push it in agian to push the card out, instead now with the new Raspberry Pi 4B the MicroSD card just slides in and out freely without any clicking noise (I thought mine was broken at first). This case came with some really neat accessories too, I thought that I would need to take out my tool box and look for the correct screwdriver for the screws but the case came with a mini screwdriver with a magnetic tip that holds the screws on the screwdriver while your using it which is pretty neat. I did have a little bit of a problem aligning the heatsinks up because the adhesive is really difficult to pull off once they stick on to a surface area and the heatsinks were a little bit difficult to align properly on each surface, and on some surfaces the heatsinks get a little bit too close to the circuits on the board (like the big long heatsink) . Some of the heatsinks were a little too big like the big long heatsink that almost touches a white circuit on the top of that heatsink but it wasnt wide enough to cover the whole surface of where that heatsink is labeled to be placed in the manual, I tried to move it around but after the adhesive sets in its really difficult to peel off and I didnt want to damage the Raspberry Pi. The fan that comes along with this kit is pretty silent, I cant hear it even on the high setting.Overall I would recommend this case, its definitely better than some of the acrylic cases out there and this case is one of the ones that people have reviewed that achieves some of the lowest temperatures.

iUniker Raspberry Pi Armor Case
Really nice build & fit on an Elements14 board.Did not reduce the temps as much as hoped. Was enough to keep temps within margins with 3gb file transfers & OS & Software updates.NOTE: If you use the tape supplied, it will raise the hight on the CPU & the other point of contact will not touch. LEAVE THE TAPE OFF THE CPU untill IUniker fixs this. One small drop of compound on the CPU solves the problem & leave the tap on the other item.Sorry for the feedback on such a good unite. But the problem is REAL.

Must have!! Excellent build product!
I received my heat sink/case last week and I tested it thoroughly. This is a must have for any RPi. Came in nicely packed with everything you need to install. Heat sink made out of high quality aluminum and the Duel fan setup works great!! I had some over heating issues with my previous setup while I was running some heavy programs but with this heat sink, i was able to run the same programs with no issue at all.IUniker got some great products and I never had a problem with anything. Also excellent customer support. They got your back any time!!Highly recommended!
