Suprisingly useful and use-able set of tools
I am an engineering professor, so I have pretty high standards for tools. Tool kits, especially cheap Chinese imports, are often very poor quality, but based on reviews I took a chance with this one and am pleasantly surprised. The pin vise (the thin metal pins that let you change links in watch bands) in particular is very good quality. I recently bought an expensive Citizen watch and this made it trivial to size it.The spudger for removing friction-fit (clicked-on) backs common on less-expensive watches works very well also, as does the device that unscrews the back of threaded-casing watches (the odd-shaped gray metal device in the middle of the picture). All but one of the jeweler's screwdrivers are both useful and of useable quality. A jeweler's loupe (a magnifying glass that you can hold with the muscles around your eye) is included that works surprisingly well too.In fact, there are only a few useless tools: the crown-puller (the complicated spring-lever tool on the left side of the picture) is very poorly-made, but no home repair people should be pulling the crowns off their watches for repair. The needle nose pliers are also of low quality, but really, who is going to be poking around their watches with a set of 3" needle-nose? There is one small #000 Phillips screwdriver with a plastic handle that had a forging error, but it seems to duplicte the higher-quality all-metal screwdrivers, so there is no trouble there. A barely acceptable plastic screw pin-removal vise is included, but it duplicates the action of the hand pin vises but offers less control, so it could be thrown away as well. All in all, this set is an inexpensive way to gain all the tools you'll ever need to adjust watch band sizing and repalce watch batteries.

Pin Removal Tools Aren't Durable, But Other Than That...It's a Nice Kit
Other than a few pieces rolling around in the box, everything arrived in good shape. I got this kit because it had some great reviews, and I got it primarily to remove links from watch bands. While I haven't had the opportunity to use every tool in the kit, I have tightened up some watch bands. I can honestly say that the tools used to remove links from watch bands are not durable...in fact, they are junk! Some were slightly bent upon arrival and broke when I was removing pins from a watch band.

Look elsewhere for quality.
This set has nearly every tool for amateur watch repair, but the quality is sorely lacking. The spring bar tool broke during the first use. One other unidentifiable tool broke on first use too. The case it's in is crappy plastic that isn't meant to last. NO instructions included. Google what you need. Also the watch back removal tool has a piece that keeps falling out when using it. I would not buy it again. Some of the tools look good enough, but not good. Super cheap quality. The included tools are useful for a few tasks, but if their quality was better that would be great. Maybe better to buy a couple smaller sets with better quality tools. Also I thought this set would include tools for the most common tasks, but it was missing a very common tool for replacing the watch back/battery cover on the back of most Timex watches. Look elsewhere for quality.

Some useful and some not-so-useful tools. A starter set to add to immediately, if for more than mantaining wrist watch bands.
There in NO dust blower in this kit. The loupe is fair. The screwdrivers aren't bad, but there aren't enough sizes-- we'll need to buy more. The puller for removing the hands is misaligned, but I haven't yet tried it's functionality. I'm not sure why they included such large, coarse pliers. These tools are intended for wrist watches, so the movement holder is too small for most antique pocket watches.

You really get what you pay for. I've already replaced these with other tools that are far better quality. Not bad of you're looking you be able to replace a batter and remove a link. Outside of that, the hands puller is very poor quality and the case opener is very flimsy and odd sized, preventing it from actually making 3 points of contact on any piece I've tried it on.

... usually leave a product review when I am extremely satisfied or completely disappointed
I usually leave a product review when I am extremely satisfied or completely disappointed. unfortunately I am totally disappointed at this ben-air watch repair tool kit. I purchased it completely based on very good reviews and ratings but I have no idea how so many people gave 5 starts to this tool kit. here is my review. First, the vise is way too small for men's watches. second, all the screw drivers' tips are not hardened enough to stay sharp and the side set screws are way too weak to keep main screw in place. The last, you'll be able to tell all the tools in the kit are made out of cheap materials. I received it today and am sending it right back.nothing but disappointment!

Arrived Rusty good tools other than that.
I wasn't expecting a lot given the price but I was not going expecting them to be rusty. The quality of the tools was what I was expecting and it's not a bad quality set. It has all the tools that were needed with some extras but they are rusty. Again decent tools but Rusty. Would have gave at least 3 stars otherwise.

I would have liked to have stronger awls and a sturdier tray
Everything you need in a basic set; very functional. I was able to open a watch that professionals couldn't open. Now I can wear it after 15 years. I would have liked to have stronger awls and a sturdier tray.
