Not padded enough

I've used loads of toe protectors for protecting a nail injury when playing football. These are by far the best so far and I still haven't broken the original one after having played six games (don't forget to rinse it). I wouldn't recommend the ones with the air holes in them for sport as they split at the weakest point - the holes themselves. Just don't leave them on 24/7 as you need to air your skin.

I bought these as walking had damaged my big toenails but I didn’t want that to stop me. The caps are easy to cut down and stretchy enough to put on. I did have to adjust them a bit so I couldn’t feel them once on but that was just my preference. They did help when walking (I covered a lot of rough terrain) and also helped to cushion my toes when walking downhill.

For a whole range of issues and conditions these are helpful. I had a fragile nail following an operation on an ingrowing toenail and was glad of the confort and protection. Given these are washable and reusable, you probably won't need as many as this pack gives you.
