Maternity shape wear may be contentious, but the shaper shorts have to be one of the best purchases of my pregnancy wardrobe. I am now 37 weeks pregnant and still wearing these shorts, not to make my bump look smaller (am very proud of my belly), but have found these very supportive and more comfortable than a pregnancy supportive belt and give a smooth line underneath jersey clothes. This is my first baby, I have no stretch marks (so far), not sure if it's the shorts but would buy them again. First pair went missing in the post but seller was fantastic in organising a replacement order asap.

Bought to wear under my wedding dress and couldn't be happier with the fit. I was worried about bump but these are very supportive and comfortable.These spanx honestly do make the world of difference to how I look in my dress and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.. They do a great job of smoothing out my lumps and bumps and giving a bit of a lift where it's needed!

I ordered a pair of these a couple of months ago. I was worried as I'm a size 16 and he biggest they had was a 14. However they were fine. They are comfy, and give support where needed. My only issue is that there is a lot of left over material at the top, so when wearing a tight dress there is a bump.Unfortunately I put a hole in my first pair when I was on holiday. Due to the price and only having 7 weeks left at that point and I'm not really a dress or skirt person, I tried a cheaper version. Big mistake ended up ordering these again.

Arrived before expected date, which was great. I'm usually a size 12 but ordered a 10 after reading reviews, they're still a bit roomy at the back but I'm guessing they'll grow with me. I'm very happy with the results and they've given me the confidence to wear my stretchy dresses. Very comfortable, no issues with feeling overheated in the summer, chafing eliminated and give great support to bump.

The size was ok but after one time of wearing it, the fabric was torn in the bump area, the fabric is to thin! I can't use it anymore so £30 for one time, it's a little bit expensive. I am really disappointed.

I ordered these when I was 3 months pregnant, as I'd decided not to bother with maternity jeans (too uncomfortable from previous experience) and to wear jersey trousers and dresses...Now at 6.5 months, I've worn them pretty much every day and while they do help me feel "toned" underneath my clothes, unfortunately the top band that goes over my bump and around my back is now loose and saggy. It shows very visibly through my clothes, which is very annoying and defeats the purpose of having hidden support wear. I can hide it by wearing a cardigan on top of my top, but there is no way to hide it when wearing a lovely dress...Three stars, because they do make me feel less jiggly under jersey!

Excellent fit, a bit pricey considering I will get minimal wear during pregnancy but glad I bought it to wear for special occasion. Feel much better in the dress with the spanx than without.

I ordered this along with the Slim Me after reading reviews. I have to agree with reviewers that the primary material is exactly like a pair of nylons and seems it will ladder quite easily. I sent it back as the Slim Me seemed far more durable and fit perfectly. For the price, this doesn't make sense since you're likely to get 1 or 2 wears out of it before it ladders.
