So, a little background. I’ve had acne since I was a young lady. Like 13-14. Used antibiotics (bad idea) and all sorts of products. My skin dries out really easily and is pretty sensitive. Products with benzoyl peroxide make my skin peel off my face. Salicylic acid can be too drying, too, if used too often.That being said, these are great. First of all, they eliminate the need for washcloths that might harbor bacteria you don’t want. Secondly, they really leave your face feeling clean.Start out using it every other day. Especially if you haven’t been using a product with salicylic acid. Always use a moisturizer after. If you have scarring or other tone issues, rose hip oil (cold pressed) is a good choice.If your skin feels too dry, add in a moisturizer. If you have bad acne, I recommend using something that won’t worsen fungus, which includes aveeno’s eczema lotion. Just a little bit goes a long way and it won’t worsen acne caused by fungus.You can always add in a drop of tea tree to your rose hip oil to really fight bacteria, but bacteria is something you definitely don’t want to eliminate entirely. Good bacteria fights acne. When we fight it off too much, we create a great environment for bad bacteria to thrive. Thus the perpetual cycle.Now, other recommendations for sisters and brothers in acneland.Acne around your chin is hormonal. Add in an oil, an omega 3 or primrose oil would be great options. Have your hormones checked if you are past puberty and your acne is still bad. I have PCOS and my testosterone levels are high.So cleansing your face, is only part of the battle if your acne is caused by hormones.Second, drink lots of water or non sugary drinks. I recommend green tea, as it’s healthy. Adding in honey is okay, too.Those two things, drinking lots of fluids and taking an omega 3, those did me the most good. I’m 32 now and my acne is generally under control, even with PCOS.If you do have a hormonal imbalance, add in myo-insitol and insitol supplements. They will help regulate your hormones and that will be a big help in the acne battle.Lastly, it’s okay to have some acne. I wish I would have accepted that sometimes, minor and major breakouts happen for everyone. And you know what, it doesn’t make you less beautiful. :)Keep that skin moisturized and drink your water and love yourself!

These presoaked rounds are very convenient to use. Each round is about 2.5 inches in diameter and 1/8 of an inch thick, all soaked through with cleaning solutions.The scrubby side exfoliates really well. If you have sensitive skin, definitely go light handed with that side. The other side is more gentle which I usually use around the eye and lip area. They foam quite a bit and leave your skin feeling very clean after you wash it off.I used to use this all the time when I was in college and shortly after undergrad. Not sure at what point I stopped using these, I was probably overwhelmed by the hundreds of beauty products I started accumulating when I was introduced to makeup. Ordered these to send to my friends’ house since I’ve been quarantining with them and introduced this to my godson who is starting to get acne break outs. He loves the convenience of it as well, in addition to the fact that these are not heavily fragranced. I just ordered two more containers since I was running out faster than I thought.

I used this for years. It made my skin so soft, refreshed and clean. Much more hygienic and convenient than using a washcloth. The scrubby bumps on the pads really helped to exfoliate my skin and cleared up blackheads. I loved the thick bubbly lather because it never over dried my skin.I came to buy my usual and saw that there were now options to buy it instead of a set price. I thought oh no as that is usually a sign that a product has been discontinued. When I saw the almost thirty dollar price I knew that the supply was dwindling and would not be restocked. I’ve tried some other pads but they don’t compare to Aveeno.

A little over a month ago I started using Retin-A (tretinoin) which can be very drying, especially in the first few weeks of use. Since beginning the regimen, I've struggled to find a lotion rich enough to moisturize my skin in one application and leave it feeling that way for more than a couple hours. This Aveeno Positively Radiant Night Cream has changed all of that. It leaves my skin feeling and looking moisturized for a solid eight hours after application. It also seems to have helped with restoring my skin's natural moisture balance, as after showering, my face doesn't immediately feel dry and tight like it was before. Prior to finding this product, I was using Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream and it just wasn't cutting it. I would apply the cream and feel as though I needed to apply more within the first hour.Pros: deeply moisturizing and restorative yet light in consistency, moisturizes significantly better than competitors' much more expensive products therefore making this product an incredible value; gentle enough for sensitive skinCons: this cream has a perfume-like fragrance that is not overbearing but is noticeable and lasts some time after application. I wish it was unscented or had a more neutral scent.
