for easy meals that dont weigh you down. Good texture (like slightly overcooked pasta)
Worth the try! Season it up however you want, add whatever you want. Entire can is just 60 cals and has 6 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein. Not too shabby! I like it and ordered more.I received all of my order, but yes, most of the cans have some denting. Not concerned, and will happily consume all of these and buy some more. This is my first time trying "spaghetti" made from hearts of palm. Neutral flavor. Maybe hint of artichoke. Dissipates completely with seasonings. I rinsed the contents of can then heat in pan with olive oil. I added parsley, garlic powder, salt, seasoned pepper and a generous pour of dried Kale. It didnt fry up any, but it allowed the flavor of the seasonings to unfold and to meld with the "pasta". As a hungry girl, I decided to add a whole avocado to my plate, as well as an entire sliced tomato which I sprinkled with a little B07NS5RVVF balsamic glaze . Additional salt, fresh ground pepper, and crushed pepper over it all. All together it was divine. Light and nutritious. Good mouth feel. Like slightly overcooked pasta.I dont do "diets". I just like food. I benefit from eating less, eating light, but by no means do I totally avoid any food. For my lunches, I like stuff like this. Easy, minimal cooking, nutritious. Versatile-- serves as nice base for whatever I feel like adding in.Next time I will try it with nutritional yeast to give it a cheesy esque flavor. I am not vegan or vegetarian. I just dont always want to use cheese. Or I may do it up again with olive oil then add fresh grated parm or pecorino cheese. Maybe add in a can of diced tomatoes. Doubt I would use this with actual sauce. I'll use regular pasta for that. Perhaps I will try half and half. Use this and add in a little real pasta so I am getting the taste and mouth feel but not as much of the calories and refined carbs.I also plan on doing a "noodle bowl" but using this instead of ramen. That'll be a game changer as far as calories. Or once again I can add the two together rather than using all regular ramen. Hmm.I find this tastier and easier to work with than shiritaki noodles, which I have been using on and off for 20 years. Better mouth feel with the hearts of palm. Ive already ordered more. I see no down side to eating this every day.Is it filling? eh.. depends I suppose what you do with it. Although I ate an entire can (Like a small bowl, or half a sandwich plate), an entire avocado, and an entire tomato, I could easily eat more of something. I am a big eater though. Big gal with big appetite. Though keep in mind that it was my first meal after being up for 4 hours. Like I dont want a lot more, but I feel snackish.

Trying to fit back into clothes
Ever have those days where you look down to tie your shoes, and are shocked because the view is disrupted by a huge muffin top? Yeah, only on days that end in Y here, so the search was on for something I could eat without remorse yet wouldn't taste like the Amazon box it was delivered in.This Heart of Palm is doing the trick - it tastes like whatever you put it with and is still very low calorie. I have been adding a touch of oil, microwaving for 3 minutes per can, and adding some Rao's sauce with the occasional turkey ball. It tastes awesome, and you by my rudimentary math eat as much as you would like for a calorie count that might just disrupt the view and let me tie those shoes again! 5 stars.

Good
Noodles were a little crunchy but otherwise, a good replacement for pasta.

Can’t get enough of this guilt free product
Holy Moses where have you been all my life? I boil in seasoned water for about 10-12 minutes and these noodles are almost indistinguishable to flour based pasta. I am a forever customer.

I'm surprised! Love the crunch!
I have liver issues, probably due to gut and carbs. So few days ago, I was craving for seafood pasta but I avoid simple carbs to reverse my liver disease. Then I found this. I actually thought this is like no-grain pasta like made of lentils, cassava, garbanzo, etc. To my surprise, it's not but I still tried it.I soaked it in boiling water for maybe less than 5 mins. I wanted to keep it still crunchy but I wanna make sure to kill bacteria that's in it since it's submerged in the water in the package. Then I mixed this in my seafood sauce that I also made. It was good! I actually like it! I was able to eat Seafood pasta without the bad carbs. LOL. I'll make my husband try this next time and see if he'll like it as well.

So yummy
I'm on a weight loss journey, and I found Palmini by chance. I had no idea a product like this was out there. I tried this tonight with Yo Mama pasta sauce, and it was so good! It definitely hits the spot when you are wanting some pasta. It's low in calories, fat, carbs, sugar and sodium and it fills you up. I am going to be buying more and trying their other products too.

Cans may arrive dented
I like the taste and consistency of this product, but I guess from now on I'll just have to order the pouches. These cans were packaged inside a sturdy box, inside another box; the branded box they came in was intact (no damage). Inside, all the cans were dented in some way. So, that means they were packaged, dented. That won't affect the taste, but it will affect how long I have eat them all; the shelf life is a fraction what it would be, if the cans were not dented. It's a little annoying, being pressured into eating something I was hoping to eat at my leisure. All the pouch packaging has arrived intact, so I'd advise ordering the pouches, instead.

Good enough for almost no calories!
Of course this not the same texture of regular pasta. It’s better than shiritaki noodles though. I boiled it in water for 8 minutes, then cooked with canned fire roasted tomatoes and garlic with a cup of the pasta water until it cooked down. Then added fresh Parmesan and basil. My husband and I both enjoyed it. It was a tad salty but that’s my fault cause I added salt to the cooking water not realizing it already had salt in it. I’m not going to totally give up Carbe Diem but will definitely buy this again. It would be a great item to have to lose a few pounds without feeling like you’re deprived. Will add shrimp and fresh spinach next time.
