The Legend of Zelda action figure Zelda Majora's Mask Limited Edition

My girlfriend loves Zelda, so this went over quite well!

I've always wanted this figure ever since it was announced along with the game, but I wasn't willing to pay the horrendous scalper prices, so I held back. Just a while ago I finally picked up the game, and met with this listing on this site, and I quickly picked it up. From what I understand, a lot of these (at least the legit ones) are leftovers from France or something (?). I guess they overproduced the collector's edition and they didn't sell as well as other regions, so they had lots of leftovers (the French are too proper to scalp products I guess). The one I got had French text along with the English on its box, so I'm guessing the story is true, but that's beside the point. In conclusion I can say, from the standpoint of a Zelda fan and collector, that it was worth it. It's a nice looking, high quality figure and I suggest getting it while you can if you give a damn about this kind of thing or if you're just a Skull Kid fan (like me!!!😆). Word to the wise though: DON'T BUY FROM A CHINESE MERCHANT. IT'S PROBABLY BOOTLEG. ALWAYS CHECK THE SELLER INFORMATION. So I ordered this because my Aunt gave me a gift card for Amazon for a early Christmas present and decided to buy this and another figure. This figure took time to get to my location, but I figured because it was in another country or something. When I got it, I was pretty excited, but as soon as I saw the box and how there was no window showing Skull Kid off, i knew it was fake. The listing was too good to be true. I do partially blame myself because I did look at the reviews before I bought it, but I figured maybe that was just other people's experiences. Sadly, that was not the case. Another thing I noticed and got me suspicious was that the back of the box was just the back of the case of the Majora's Mask 3D game case. Not only that, but when I opened the box, the figure was upside down when I opened the box from the top. Lastly, the figure itself, though it looks pretty alright, confirms that this is a fake. The official figure is supposed to be looking at its hand, but here, it is not. I still will keep it just because this is my first fake figure and because of the fact that I spent 23 dollars on it. Doesn't mean I'm happy. To all those wanting to buy the figure thinking it's real, it's not. Save your money for a figure from an official source. Buying figures from Amazon is already risky in the first place. I suggest figures from Goodsmile, First4Figures, or Weta Workshop since they are official sources that almost always make high quality figures. I hope you all have a great day!

Myfigurecollection says there is a bootleg of this figure, and people in the comments were skeptical about whether or not that was really the case. one member who said they had a figure from when he bought the game, and also one from amazon, and aside from the box he couldn't tell the difference. The suspension was that they are factory overstock and are being sold wherever unofficially as a result. That being said myfigurecollection also said that the figure was available in France for people who purchased the digital download code in stores. the box that my figure came in was in English, and Yep, French. given the quality of the figure I received, my best guess is that this figures origins are overstock from unsold French stores, but I can't really prove that, just a theory. If this really is a bootleg, it's the best one I've ever seen. Either way it's well worth the $26 I paid for it. it looks absolutely awesome!EDIT: a little more research found that the EU version, including the one sold in France was sold in a White box. so although the figure seems authentic, the box may be something made up to sell the extra figs

It took a bit to get to me from ite location, but it arrived well packed in its box, a bit squished but the box isnt for display. The figure is well made and looks really cool. It is a reproduction but they were up front about that, trying to find the original is arduous and expensive. A great majoras mask item for fans!

Well, just to start... i was relly mad when i could not pre order the collectors edition game. I even promise to not buy the game. Well I've been searching for the game or just the figurine. I was a little afraid i was going to get a cheap thing when i ordered the figurine. For my surprise, i can tell you. This is the real thing (just to confirm the previous reviews when some people were saying... this is not a fake figurine!) i can tell is original! The package is well packed and everything is amazing. I high recommend this seller. Fast shipping! I got mine 9 days before

Box was taped together and clearly old. Figurine had damage which had been sharpied to cover it up. Item was listed as new.

I ordered this as a gift for my boyfriend to display with his other figures. He was very impressed with the quality of the paint job and the vividness of the colors. It might not be the original figure released with the game, but I honestly think the colors in this one look a lot better than the original.
