It does send a signal.
The media could not be loaded. I snapped the wire to my peddle assist sensor on my ebike. I bought 2 like my old sensor but they didn't work (electric or mech?). So, I tried this much different one. (As a Hail Mary) This sensor seems to work. I may need to adjust some display settings to decrease response time between peddle and assist. (Maybe reduce magnets?)But it is sending a signal!!! I had to change the pin out. Video documents what wires I connected together ( left column sensor wires, right column controller) for my bike. I needed two special bike tools the way I mounted it. One to remove peddle arm and one to remove "peddle axle from bottom bracket" (not bike speak). <20 bucks. Good luck.

Works, but re-wiring, gluing and tinkering required
This pedalec switch works as advertised with two (or three) notes of cautionThis sensor comes with a male connector. If you have a KT controller, the KT pedal sensor input connector is also male. The KT also has the green (signal input) wire in the middle. Cutting/splicing wires required.Also you will probably have to glue sensor in place. I use JB weld epoxy. Strong and permanent. Lasted 5 years in my original ebike.Ignore the arrow molded in the sensor. The correct direction is as shown in the original Amazon vendor photo.finally, the sensor is a bit large for my clearances. You could bend the metal tab, but I chose to pull the pedal crank out a bit.

It works on sailnovo ebike
In retrospect I should have ordered a two piece sensor, installation would have been simpler. With this set I had to also buy a special tool to remove the pedal arm. The sensor connection of this plugged directly into an open port on the motor controller with matching wire colors on a sailnovo ebike.

Its a good unit and a good deal.
People will always belly ache about something. It works for what i need it for. And its better quality than i had before and the price was right .i have no complaints
