Didn’t work great for me.
Overpriced and complicated. Returned it after a few tries and bought more of other products

10 years with an ostomy and still the best belt on the market, IMHO
I've been wearing Phoenix's ostomy belts for many years now. It's been interesting to see how the design has changed over the years. I recently bought a new one (large/x-large now, I'm sorry to say). I am very pleased with the newest design. I will admit, the hooks take a bit to get used to, but they have one big advantage over velcro or snaps: they are completely silent. Sitting in the stall next to your coworker this comes in very handy to reduce overall anxiety about "making funny noises" when you go to empty the contents of your bag. Plus it's extremely adjustable, with several size settings using the rows of hooks. You really only have to clasp the hooks once that set the size, then just put it on and take it off using only two hooks, the ones above and below the ostomy hole. It's really simple. You can even push down on the hooks once you have them on the correct size setting and "close" them so they won't be a problem, *if* you find them a problem that is.One last note: people, don't give this belt a bad review just because you are angry about having to have an ostomy. I know, it sucks, and probably always will, but chances are you're still alive because of it, whether colon cancer or ulcerative colitis (me) or Crohn's disease, or physical injury. Take a minute to look at the product and there should be no issue. As I said, their belt design has changed over the years, I've had several over the years, they used to use Velcro which I'm guessing the two single-star posters before me might have found easier to manage to start, but then try to open it quietly in a public restroom (good luck!). Then snaps, but they still make noise and kept pulling out of the fabric. The hook system is silent and probably as cheap to manufacture if not cheaper than about any other closure system, and should last indefinitely with normal usage.
