Outdoor Sun Hat for Men with UV Protection Safari Cap Wide Brim Fishing Hat with Neck Flap, for Dad

It looks like it will do a good job keeping the sun off with the wide brim and generous neck flap. It definitely is not a low profile hat. I don't think I have a particularly big head at between 7 3/8 and 7 1/2, but I do have a good head of curly hair. The hat fits ok, I certainly don't need to make it smaller with the size adjuster. So my advice is if you have a larger head be aware that you may need to return it.

The shape of this hat really helps it stay on in high wind. I bought a different hat that blew back constantly & did not keep its shape. This hat is much superior. I will be buying this hat for myself too

Does the job. My dermatologist insisted that I get this hat. He has had to cut too many cancer spots from my face over the past three years, so this is going to help.

Packed up easily for my bag and was perfect for being out in the sun on a recent trip to the Dominican Republic. Will use it for city walks at home, too.

This is a great hat. Last year we were in Nauvoo and the sun was incredibly intense. We’re going back this summer and I’ll be ready. My wife says it’s looks funny but it’s very light weight and comfortable. The front half of the brim is firm and there are no creases or wrinkles. It also looks like it will keep its shape well. The back half of course is the part that drapes over your shoulders. The size is adjustable and has a draw string. After all the snow we’ve had I’m looking forward to using it.

I have to avoid the sun because of medical issues.I didn't trust other hats with the mesh bands. This one is perfect

Great hat! Great at keeping the sun off your face. Head seat could be better fit, in strong wind or moving in the boat the hat has a tendency to blow off.

I like the wide brim, used in conjunction with my mosquito net which is pretty wide also it does the job very well. In other words when your in the country and work or just want to stand in the forest there will be millions of mosquitoes around you but they will never get to you. Love it.

Excellent set up for a sun hat. Provides a lot of shade all the way around my head. Keeps my entire face and ears shaded, and there is nice long protection for neck. I don’t know if I look cool, but this is, by far, the best hat to have on for spending hours in the sun. I ordered a second hat.

I am a regular walker and this hat gives me great protection from the sun. Covers my face and the back of my neck.
