LED Desk Lamp Saicoo 2-in-1 with Multi-Colored Night Light, 3-Level Dimming

I bought this for home and had expected I could move it around wherever I needed a little more light. Well, it has to be plugged in which is not what I thought. I understood (perhaps I didn't read the info carefully enough!) that I could charge it with the cord on a computer or AC outlet and then it would hold the charge for some time. But no, it has to be plugged in like a regular lamp, so it's not as mobile as I had wanted. However, I have decided on one place that I need more light and that's near my entry door. I can easily turn this on with my finger and the LED lamp gives a lot of light for me to see when coming in the door until I can reach the top light switchwhich is across the room. The colored night light is nice, but I haven't really found a use for it yet. The cord can be plugged into a USB port on a computer, and that may be another place it would be useful. However, overall I do like the lamp and it does come in handy near my entry door.

I ordered 2 Saicoo LED Desk Lamps and received both a few days after. I kept one in our bedroom and gave the second one to my son who needed it to read books at night in his bedroom sometimes. Honestly speaking, I was so excited about the lamps when they first arrived. However, after only 2 weeks of use, I had to send them to my car garage, as I became so annoyed with the light due to the deficiency of its output power. The white-balanced color coming from the desk lamp made me feel so uncomfortable as it did not give me such a warm reception whenever I walked into my room. I thought I am the only one in my family having that kind of prejudice against them. However, my son did not like it after his brief use of this lamp. He claimed that he could not read well with this lamp on -- this light is so dim! He wanted to return it to me.Now, both of the lamps become useless and a waste in my garage. I do not know what to do with these lamps. I guess I will have to give them away when possible.I would not recommend anyone to buy it as a replacement of our traditional desk lamp for a reading purpose. For a limited use of its capacity, you should buy it.

This is a great product for those who have babies. My wife and I have an infant. Why is it awesome? 1) When our daughter slept in our room, we could turn on the colored light (your choice) without waking the sleeping spouse. Traditional lights are too bright (even 40 watt). 2) A bright white light will help wake the baby up in the middle of the night - with the LED light we help keep our baby asleep. 3) you do have the option of the bright white LED light in case you need it. I just wish it would be 3 buttons (low, medium, high) instead of having to cycle. But since I never use the white light while baby feeding (at night) it's not a big dealThe only downside - the charger allows you to plug another USB powered device (e.g., your phone). For some reason when I plug my phone in the light turns off - almost like the power cuts out for a split second. Then I have to turn the light back on. To solve this, I use another USB/electrical socket adapter for my phone and wifes phone (android and iphone).

I am very happy with this lamp. I was searching for a desk lamp to replace the led desk lamp I purchased over a year ago whose bulb (non replaceable) was supposed to last 25 years which it obviously did not. Anyway I wanted a replacement that was smaller to fit the desk better. This lamp is a great size and offers functionality the other one did not. First of all the brightness is adjustable to 3 levels. The neck of the lamp is also adjustable. And the base of the lamp which is different colors (selectable by you) acts as a night light if you wish. I think my favorite feature though is the fact that the power thingie (yes that is a technical term in my world) that you plug the usb cord into actually has two usb slots so you can plug in both your light and your phone. Or whatever device you wish. This is a great feature. And I hope that the light is back in stock soon because I am going to order another one for my son who is going off to college soon. As soon as he saw it on my desk the other day his response was "that's cool - did you get me one?".

I bought this lamp to give me added light for reading paperwork when on the computer at night. it serves that purpose. The thought of having a night light was also inviting. The night light is bright. This lamp does not take up a lot of space and I like the flexible neck.The white LED light without a shade doesn't supply a 'nice feeling' light. I am trying to figure out how to situate the light without it reflecting in my window at night for the times i want it on but not supplying reading light.Note - the additional USB port is not on the base of the lamp but on the portion that plugs into the outlet. Just mentioning so you don't think you can reach over and plug into a USB on the base of the lamp but rather have to go to where the lamp is plugged in to do so.I have not had this lamp for long but so far works as described.

It's a nice lamp. I like it, but when they say 'LED Desk lamp with USB Charging Ports' they are misleading us! There is no charging port on this lamp. Period. The lamp is powered by a USB cord, that you connect to a supplied device that you plug into an A/C power outlet. This device has two USB ports. Right out of the box there is a notice that you should not use the device to power the lamp and anything else at the same time. In my opinion it is an intentionally misleading description. I choose to not go on to the emotional outraged reaction. Suffice to say I dislike being intentionally misled when making a purchasing decision.11Oct2016Saicoo has changed the description and added a really good picture that shows exactly what you will get. I see no misleading info today. I think they have acted in good faith to make it right. They're pretty concerned about the 3star rating. The Saicoo Support Team (Fiona) has been diligently following up. Like many reviewers, my lamp has issues with the switches. I think It helps to use the highest power port. I have a touch on/off faucet that is glitchy too. Perhaps that's just the nature of the technology?
