6PACK Felisyl Immune System Support Granules (21 oz)

My cats love this lysine product. It has a yeast smell which they find more palatable. It is more economical than the tubes and easy to put on their food. I sometimes just sprinkle some on to entice them to eat when they are being finicky. This was a great deal since I am caring for quite a few cats and some had a respiratory illness.(which is now ok) It is very economical this way.

Simon was found under a dumpster when he was about 3 months old. He had a herpes infection. Since herpse, unlike love, is forever, the vet suggested lysine to prevent attacks from recurring. I have been giving him Felisyl ever since. I mix it with his food and he doesn't mind eating it. The only attack he has had since was when I was out of Felisyl. This could be a coincidence, but I don't want to risk another bout of runny eyes and a trip to the vet.

This product works! I order the six pack because it's much more economical. Luckily, my cat isn't picky with his food, so he never has an issue with this product being sprinkled in. If some of you do, try easing it into their wet food gradually by using only a small amount initially, then moving up to the recommended amount. Cats are always offended by change, but patience always wins the day with them.

I raise Persian kitteens and this really works with keeping the tearing down in my adults' eyes. I had used it in the past and didn't restock my supply for quite a while, and could certainly tell the difference! I am using it again, and will continue!
