These are really pretty socks. You can't see much from the picture, but they have little bits of color thread woven through the main pattern. They also have a generous fit if you have wide calves. They look great with boots.The main problem is you don't want to do anything too strenuous in these. I bought them to wear with work boots and the heels had loose threads after one day of use. The description mentions using them for hiking... Just don't.The care instructions recommend hand washing or the gentle cycle, and no tumble drying. If they can't stand up to a heavy wash cycle, they're not going to last if you're rough on socks. I'm only rating them so high because I will get a lot of use out of them in my going-out boots.

OMG I love these socks! For years, I have lived with cold feet and achy ankles in the winter because I couldn't find comfortable knee high socks that had any warmth to them. These came quickly, and I was instantly impressed with the material. I was skeptical that they would fit my large calves, but they're plenty roomy. Not too tight! I like the assortment of colors, but wish there were more. I've never paid that much for 5 pairs of socks, but they are WELL worth the price. I've already recommended them to my daughter.UPDATE: I got some of these for my daughter for Christmas, after she had to borrow a pair when her feet got wet. I was right, she loves them!

I like these socks a lot. I was skeptical about them when I opened the package since they look like they would be rough in texture.The socks are actually very comfortable and stretchy. It's easy to stretch your toes out in these and they are warm, yet breathable.They are stretchy, but they also stay in place without being tight.These are more expensive but also a lot nicer than the last knee high socks I bought on Amazon from a different brand.The socks measure 15" from the point of the heel to the top.

I had my doubts that these socks would fit a size 7 foot tightly enough without stretching out or bunching in the toes. So I asked the Amazon community. Numerous reviewers said not to worry, the toes would stay put. Sold!So far, I’ve only worn one pair of these socks around the house for a few hours, under slippers. They don’t fit superbly.I have a choice: baggy toe, baggy heel, or baggy somewhere around the ball of my foot.These are well-made socks, a perfect height for short people (like me) and nice give/stretch through the calf. Unfortunately, you really are best off with size 8+ feet for these to be as luxuriously awesome as they’re intended to be.

LOVE these socks!! They are beautiful colors with specs of multicolor in them. The stretch is awesome! I am wearing them with calf high boots, and they scrunch down beautifully, holding their form without sagging. I haven’t washed them yet, so I can’t review how they hold up in a wash, but the washing recommendations do say not to machine dry...I do that with a lot of my clothes, so not an issue. Picture included shows the sock pulled all the way up as well as scrunched down to cuff the boot.

I liked these at first but then when I wore the blue ones my feet broke out really bad. Maybe it's me? I washed them but the same thing happened every time I wore them. They were also NOT knee length... more like mid-calf (I wear size 8... so it's not like I have huge feet). All around, a poor purchase. I would try something else!

Got these for my mom that likes knee length socks and has a coolish office to work in. She wears trouser socks with many shoes, but any she can wear socks with...she wears these. They are her favorite! I dont usually spend this much on socks, but I came back to order her another set because she like them so much. Soft , fit, warm and they stay up where they belong!

Once you carefully clip and remove all the pins, tags, you get to enjoy these knee high socks. I love all the color combinations, the flecks of color like confetti. Very soft. I didn't realize they require special care, recommended to hand wash. I think I'll try washing a pair normally and see what happens. I like they are dark colors because light socks often get discolored quickly, even if you just wear them around the house. Very cozy!
