Maybe limited by the TRS size, the screw to attach on box is kind limited.

I love the clear window on these. I found it was really helpful to be able to see which conductors go where without needing to find a data sheet, and how the 3.5 mm stereo plug interacts with everything. I used these for a project where I needed to cut a circuit when a plug was inserted, operate as a normal stereo audio in jack, and then have the circuit reconnect when the plug was removed. These fit the bill perfectly, and having spares was really nice.There were only two issues I ran into:1) the pins don't really line up with breadboards or universal proto PCBs. That's fine; I bent the pins with some teeny jeweler's pliers so they fit into the PCB enough for soldering.2) The threaded barrel was maybe 1 mm shorter than I would've liked for mounting into the side of a 3D printed enclosure. I got around that by making a counter-sunk opening in the enclosure with room for the nut, it just made the wall a bit thin for my liking. It actually looks nice that way though, having the nut & jack opening sit totally flush with the outside of the enclosure.Overall these were exactly what I needed for my project, and I still have several left over!

Used them to add headphone feature to a couple budget handhelds that did not come with a headphone jack. Fit in the shell securely, and worked great.

The ground ring rotated when screwing on the cheap bezel nut on all my three pieces, and one fell apart completely.
