Great Projector for the Price
I'm currently stationed in S. Korea and needed something larger than my laptop to watch movies on, but I have a TV in my home goods. I decided to shop for a cheap projector that would get me through my 2 years without breaking the bank, and found this little guy. It's a bit larger than I was expecting, but not overly so. Weighs just a few pounds, so can easily rest on a simple mounted shelf on the wall. The projection is quite bright and easily viewed in a nice dark room, and the image gets absolutely massive when far enough away from the projected area. My only complaint is with the noise set off by the fan. This bulb style gets very hot, so it needs a fan to keep it cool, but in a vaguely small room (normal bedroom size) it can hinder hearing the sound of what you're watching. I haven't tried using the speakers in the unit, so I can't comment on their sound quality. It has simple controls, and easy dials to adjust focus and the keystone aspect. The keystone dial does not go very far, however, so too much of an angle on the projection may not be fixable on this unit. It does not have an option for the sideways keystone effect when projecting at a side angle unfortunately, so you need to project head on. It's quite cold at the moment, so I can't try it outside for summer movie nights, but it seems like it will easily be up to the challenge.Overall, it's a great projector for the price. Has a great, bright image, and projects a very large image if needed. The fan built in is very loud, but a decent set of external speakers should easily overpower that issue. I'd gladly buy this again if needed. I use it to watch movies instead of shipping my TV international, but will definitely use it in the future for larger image needs and craft/DIY projects.

Wouldnt purchase again but got the job done.
For almost 100 bucks I didn't expect it to be the best projector ever made but I did expect everything to work properly. I bought this for my daughters movie theatre themed birthday party and boy do i wish i would have thought to set it up a couple weeks before. I set it up a few days prior to the party only to realize that the AV input did not work therefore the dvd I bough for the party was unusable. The only way I got this to work was to haul my daughters Xbox that was mounted to the freaking wall down stairs and hook it up to the projector via HDMI. Yes it got the job done it does work the colors are okay but I'm not thrilled that I bought this so far ahead of time and now cannot return or exchange it. I'm out of the 30 day. So just a heads up it could have just been mine but be sure to check the A/V output if you would like to use this with a DVD player. Also another not the power cord does not stay in very well and the speakers are useless be sure to buy some sort of external speakers that hook up with a headphone jack.

Need Help!
For some reason, my laptop screen does not show up using the project. I've tried different cords (usb, hdmi, and even vga), can anyone help me?? I don't even know if this projector works well or not because I haven't been able to watch anything using my laptop. NEED HELP! (Will change my rating if it works!)

Outdoor Summer movies are go!!
The projector works perfectly. As stated in other reviews, the fan is really loud. It doesn't really bother me that much, but if you have noise issues, it might not be for you

Broke during the 3rd use, returned.
I was initially blown away by the picture quality of this projector. I had bought it primarily for backyard movie nights but since it's still a little too chilly for that, I projected a movie on our vaulted living room ceiling. Our kids were so excited to watch the animated movie Trolls on the entire ceiling! They also watched half of another movie the same same before bed. Those two uses went well. Set up was easy-we used a VGA cord plugged into my laptop. Of course, when my husband and I try to watch Game Of Thrones, the projector turned off after less than a minute. The fan was no longer turning on so I believe that's why it was shutting off. I tried a few more times before realizing it was just junk. I packed it up and returned it for a refund. I'm not sure if this was just a defective unit or a "you get what you pay for" experience but we were disappointed either way. I know I didn't pay a lot for it in comparison to what's out there but for the price and considering I handled it like it was glass (carefully packed back in the box after use) it should have lasted longer that 3 uses. I don't recommend and would suggest saving up for a better one, I know I will be.

It works well but needs to be plugged in. ...
It works well but needs to be plugged in. The description of the product led me to believe that it was portable and chargeable. The fan is loud. Need to have extra items to connect with a phone. Picture is clear.
