Caffè BorboneRespresso Espresso Capsules, 50 Capsules - Mixed Flavors

To Caffè Borbone: Work with your contract manufacturer and resolve the compatibility issue! (I am a manufacturing Engineer - send your SQEs over and get it solved!)The positive: This is my favorite Nespresso compatible coffee - for flavor. I got the variety pack to try them out. The "Black" is too burnt for my taste, but will appeal to some others. I like the red, blue, and yellow.The negative: In my 2 or 3 year old Inissia (bought at Williams & Sonoma) I would describe as 90% compatible. What I mean is, my Inissia struggles to push water through the capsule. It goes very slow and most often I need to repeatedly push the espresso button until I get enough coffee. With enough button pushing, I can almost always succeed - eventually. FYI, I prefer "Lungo" brewing size more than "Espresso", meaning the coffee is 1/2 the strength of espresso due to 2X the water.Bottom line: I will probably order again and put up with the compatibility issues, because it still "works" for me and I really like the flavor. However, I only drink this on weekends when I have time to fidget with it. During the week I'm in too much hurry to get going to work, so I can't chance it.

Nespresso-like cartridges seems to be a little shorter than Nespresso and other Nespresso-like cartridges ; as a result, cartridges are pierced only on the front side and not in the back, very little volume of water comes out of the spigot (probably water gets in and out of the front side of the cartridge only) and the taste is very "light".

I already knew the Caffè Borbone. I like very much their coffee and I, personally, really enjoy the Italian roasting style.

I bought the 50 Variety pack and love them so far. Great Nespresso original pods for taste and value! I was really surprised by the flavor of these roasts. *My only complaint is the pods drip very slow at times and I wish they would use aluminum pods over plastic but I will buy again and enjoyed the roasts flavor!

Best Nespresso compatible pods, for an authentic Italian espresso experience(especially the blue variety). Look no further if you think Nespresso capsules are overpriced and overrated. These work perfectly with newer Nespresso machines (not sure if they work with the Vertuo series though). Enjoy!

We use this for home coffee. The taste is smooth and bold,we love it. If you don't like bold flavors you won't like it.
