Caliburn Blacksmith Straight V-Bit Tongs

Surprisingly adequate for my first set of tongs. Apprentice bladesmith so I am just learning but coupled with my home forge (reviewed as well!) and anvil, I can augment my forge time at home. I actually bring that to class and use them there. I am learning that these do not work for every application but that is why blacksmiths have many different jaws but these work for almost all my blades. Just have to figure out how to jaw them so I don't drop my hot!

So far product is exactly as advertised, seems strong and grips well. Well made product, haven't used it at the forge yet but excited to do so

Great tongs. The little details like the balled ends put these a head above the rest. They grip well, the length is good, and overall they're built extremely well.

Hold good just have to adjust them a lil during use I would buy these tongs again as needed

Work very well for stock under 3/8inch I use them for knife making and they are great quality, no complaints.

These tongs are awesome. They have a VERY tight grip and are very sturdy. Glad I bought them.

Disappointing. Rivet not as tight as you'd like, notch slightly misaligned in jaw and most disappointing is the flex in the handle. You run out of squeeze when trying to grip your workpiece tight.

Very good quality for the money. Jaws align well and solid feel.
