Nearly hull-less and 100% delicious, this rare and wonderful popcorn pops up as white as snow and delivers a flavor like no other! The naturally red kernels are best prepared the traditional way with a pan, a lid and some oil, but you'll get fine results in an air-popper (but with a lower yield of fully popped corn). There are countless ways to enjoy it--with just salt and butter, or perhaps cooked in some duck fat and topped with Parmesan cheese. Country of production: USA

The best popcorn you will ever eat, promise.
So yum, so little, so crunch. Now I understand when they say huskless. Or is that the term? There is no hard kernel inside, its just light and cruncy. I got to try this sort of by accident. My friend couldn't easily fit it in his carry on and gave it to me. What? Why are you carrying popcorn with you? He forgot to put it in his moving storage and ended up bringing it because he couldn't leave it behind.I was rolling my eyes, popcorn, how important can it be that you are hand carrying it on your move from Hawaii to Arizona. I thought he was being weird until I actually popped it and became a raving fan of this popcorn...just ask my sisters..I keep telling them they have got to try this. Highly and repeatedly recommended.

The best popcorn ever!
We recently tasted this Crimson Corn at Barndiva Restaurant in Healdsburg, CA, where it is served popped in clarified butter.Well, we are now hooked on Rancho Gordo Crimson Popping Corn, having ordered a five pack and a Great Northern Stove Top Popper popper from Amazon. So far, we've used both Coconut Oil and Avocado oil. Different results, but both good. We also popped Orville's corn in the new popper, but there is no comparison. The Ranch Gordo corn does not have all the husks that the Orville's does. Also, it has a crunch to it, even the next day. It makes a nice different appetizer when entertaining.

Hull of a great popping corn
This popcorn is so good it has ruined any other popcorn experience for me. I used to be a bottom-shelf yellow popcorn type of guy. But now that stuff tastes like salted cardboard in comparison. The Rancho Gordo corn is a delicious small kernel with great texture. Very few hulls which is amazing. Is it roughly four times more expensive than generic popcorn from the grocery store? Yes. Is it four times better when it comes to taste, texture, appearance (beautiful crimson color) and number of hulls. Yes. Hull yes.

Great popping corn!
We love the flavor and texture of this corn. They pop really well, I love the old maids so I am kinda bummed I only get a dozen or so at the end of the bowl, but hey that means this is a great popping corn!

but you will be amazed. It's really incredible
You eat popcorn and you think popcorn and what's the difference? Well, this is the difference. I had no idea that there could be such a huge gulf between any given name brand popcorn and this stuff, but you will be amazed. It's really incredible.

or at least not toxic like the junk on grocery shelves
Delicious and maybe even healthy, or at least not toxic like the junk on grocery shelves. Yay another snack to keep me distracted from temptations of ice cream.

Great popcorn! We use an air popper and have had around a 5 unpopped kernel average for each 1/2 cup.... much better than that OV stuff. The flavor is great, and virtually zero kernel pieces in the teeth...it does happen but it's RARE. Definitely our new go-to for snacks and movie nights.
