Super easy to install and way thicker than I expected. The window sill is not only subjected to dog claws but frequently used for my cups - since I work from home. I wish I had bought it when the window was first painted! You can't even tell its there!

Easy to instal and works great

This was exactly what I had been looking for to help protect my window sills.I gave a very enthusiastic, nosey and sharp-nailed Welsh Terrier who loves to investigate all noises from the backyard.To help protect my sills we tried this option and it works like a dream.It’s not glamorous or “pretty” but it gets the job done. I will say that the Clawguard is not very noticeable unless you’re up close.Overall very happy with this product for what it’s intended to do.

I peeled off the blue protective film and use this at the kitchen sink window to keep water splashes off of the wood windowsill. IT works great. Our cat also gets up there for the sunshine and this will protect the wood from her claws, plus, I can put plants on it (which have outer pots to protect any drainage but still I'm a messy waterer).YES solidly recommend this. I would put it in all of my windows but that would cost too much....

I could tell by the packaging that it had been returned by a previous buyer as it had added tape to the box. Once I opened it there was no protective film on it and it was filthy underneath. I did measure it out and this was a little shallower than I ended up needing. This one is getting returned and I am going to try to order one more that is a little deeper for my sill. If you pay for 'new', you should receive new!
