Comparing to the OEM 18v Ryobi bulb, the LED is whiter & brighter. But the light is quite concentrated in a spot pattern vs. the OEM bulb has more of a semi flood pattern which is preferred while working on projects. Pic attached, led on left, oem on right.I purchased one bulb to try out and will not purchase more for the other flashlights I have. Still looking for a better bulb at a better price point.

It seems to be twice or three times as bright as the original bulb in my Ryobi P700 18 volt flashlight. The beam pattern in different with this bulb. There is a bright center portion of the beam and a dimmer outer section to the beam. All in all, it is brighter and better than the original incandescent bulb originally in my Ryobi light.

Makita replacement 18 volt flashlight really nice, Makita factory bulb so hot and would break easy. This bulb is so bright does and not get hot, hope it lasts a long time. Yeah it is more of a spot light than the factory flood, however the flashlight is much better for the fact the spot light is not that much less, and works better for stuff that you would be looking at. Also there is a nice big area around the spot area that is still very bright. Can't go wrong with this bulb.

Works great as a replacement bulb for my Ryobi 18V flashlight. The light is whiter, comparable in brightness, and with a reasonable peripheral brightness (outside the bright spot, which is a bit smaller as shown in other reviews.) At first it seemed not to fit, because the flange is thicker than the one on an incandescent bulb, but then I noticed a plastic washer in the Ryobi. After removing the washer, it fit perfectly.

Fit perfectly into Makita light 18V. 4 stars because of the light pattern compared to the original light pattern. The main focus of the light is really concentrated in a spot, as compared to the original bulb which was spread/diffused more. I'm ok with this because I wanted to change to LED for extended battery run time and bulb lasting longer. I can't comment on those two things at the moment as I just got them. As long as they last longer than the original bulbs, I'd buy this again. A diffuser lens would make this bulb/light combo great.

Best led bulb ever for my Milwaukee m18v conversion. Its 3x brighter than the candescent bulb it came with and only 1/3 price over Milwaukee bulb, that's only 160 lumens. This bulb is rated 247 lumen at 18v, with every penny

I returned this item. Despite the advertised high brightness it was actually one third the brightness of the stock bulb that's in my 10year old Ryobi 18v One+ flashlight. I measured both bulbs using a light meter at the same distance. I expected it to be a bit blue and more direct, not as diffused, but I didn't expect the lack of lumens. This bulb didn't work out for me.

It changes the light pattern dramatically. Now you have a very bright but small spot in the centre but now you get a very even light over a large Area for me I think this is much better for working around. The other pluse is it remains relatively cool unlike the bulb that was in my ryobi light which got hotter over time. Over all I think this is a very worth while purchase and as a bonuse your battery life is dramatically increased with this led light.

Bought this to replace the bulb in my Hitachi work torch. The light is brighter than a standard bulb and the light is more concentrated into a spot. Should give longer battery life being an led. All in all well pleased with my purchase.

Bought a £10 bulb for a £15 Ryobi flash light lols! This is a much needed upgrade though. Up close the light pattern isn't the greatest but works well over distance.

I installed this bulb on a DeWalt 18v flexible gooseneck flashlight. It lasted 3 seconds and blew out. Went out with a flash and then smoke came out of lamp housing.
