Love the styling and features of the little clock. What I am very disappointed about is that at night when I wake up wondering what the time is, you can't see it unless I have it blinking though the color rotations. It's either not lit up or it's blinking though the seven colors. Definitely would have given five stars if there was a way to have it illuminated at night rather than blinking through seven colors! And if I'm missing something will someone please educate me?!

I bought this for my wife, and I had to return it because she was sleeping through the alarm (which isn't adjustable). If you're a light sleeper and you don't want to disturb your roommate, this alarm clock is the one for you. If for you, like for many of us, sleeping through the alarm is big trouble, probably not. If you're in between, make your evaluation as best you can. Or get an alarm clock with an adjustable alarm and relax.

I didn't buy it because it had a multicolored backlight. For bedroom... didn't want light. Just wanted a nice looking little clock for daytime use. I put it on top of my armoire and expected the time would be visible from just about anywhere in the bedroom. It was easy and fun to set up. Didn't really expect to ever use date or temperature, just time, but set it all up anyway. Interface was intuitive. The problem is that when the backlight isn't on, the display is medium to dark gray. The numbers are black. Not much contrast. Easy to see the time within 10 feet, not able to see it across the room. Numbers are large enough, just blend with dark background from a distance. Admittedly I have old eyes, but I have several other small clocks that are much easier to read from a distance. Sorry it didn't work out. It had very clean lines and a modern look. Multicolored backlight great for a kid. Would work just fine on a desk. Unfortunately I already have a desk clock I like. I returned it.

Ok first of all.. I bought this because I thought I could pick one color.. you can't. If you want to be able to see the clock at night it will be flashing different colors. Very distracting and hard on the eyes. Plus I cant even see the time from across the room. I'm so disappointed as I ordered two of these and now have to send them back. Total junk!

Works as expected, easy to flip thru each color and setting. I expect the 3 AAA batteries to last a long time in it since the illumination doesn't stay on 24/7. Would buy again!

A clever idea for a clock that loses it functionality in the design execution. In order to see the time in the dark you have to tap the clock which changes the clock function from time to temperature. It takes 5 more taps with accompanying beep. Not great for night viewing while someone is sleeping along side you.

I bought this because I wanted a clock that would stay illuminated in the dark so that I could see the time when I woke up in the middle of the night.Unfortunately, the only way to keep it lit up is to have it change colors throughout the night which is like having a police car outside of your bedroom.Why?

The instructions are gibberish and are clearly written in another language and Google Translated without any further proofreading. It's almost comical, if it weren't so annoying. The clock reset every time we tried to turn off the alarm or press the snooze button. As long as you don't mind telling your alarm clock what time it is every single day, go for it.
