Great water shoes they protect your feet very well

Ordered these in my regular size (8.5) Color was much lighter grey than appeared in the photos. They are not a "break them in" style of shoe. There is some give with the material so were very easy to put on but be sure that the binding on the opening doesn't fold in on itself when you put them on... If you prefer a little more room in the toe box, I wouldn't recommend going up more than half a size. I have narrow-medium width feet and they fit snugly but not too tight. My sole complaint about these shoes is pull tab on the vamp side of the opening - I don't know if it's the material of the tab or the nylon stitching but they made terrible sores on the tops of both feet. I only wore them out for around 30 minutes or so on a run to the grocery store.so it's a good thing I tried them out while I was close to home. I can wear these with no-show socks but that defeats the purpose of going for a mesh style slip-on. Going to keep looking for a similar shoe that won't cause this same problem for my feet.
